Sylvan Eye Associates Optometry

Not sure when they moved but today was my first time at their new location. The name is the same but the service is terrible. Had and appointment at 2:40. Checked in a few minutes early and the receptionist said they were running behind but not more than 25 mins. I waited in the waiting room and watched others arrive after me and they were seen right away. Waited until 3:30 and walked to the front desk to let them know I was leaving but nobody was there. Waited another 5 mins and talked walking around the building trying to find someone. Finally found the person who checked me in and let her know I was leaving. As I was leaving, she asked if I wanted to reschedule? Really? I just waited 50 mins and never got called back and you want to know if I want to reschedule? Why the hell would I want to go through that again?

I’ve always enjoyed this practice and their selection of glasses. I had to take a break due to insurance but am now back with them think they are great. The practice I visited in between were great as well just prefer it here 🤷‍♂️

Was suppose to have new lenses and nobody helped me. Just wanted to sell new safety glasses and I said no thanks. Lady who helped me, walked over to the counter gave the lady at the counter a paper and I paid $7.50 and that was it. The lady who helped me was acting like she wanted to go home. Not happy about this. Will take my business somewhere else.

Had to make an appointment through their automated system which gave me a date and time. I was then called later that day to say they didn't actually have that appointment available, so they gave me the next available date. They then changed the time on me another 2 times without calling, i just got a text saying it changed. I get to my appointment today and am told I have a $10 copay, thats fine. Then the girl checking my eye pressure says ill have to pay $120 for my contact prescription which is the only reason i was there. I didn't need anything else, just the contact prescription. Im irritated because they could have told me over the phone when they called to change my appointment date. Their system is messed up, I dont recommend going here.

The front desk are accommodating and pleasant. I was late on my appointment because I had stomach issues,yet they still accepted me. The opthalmologist Dr. Lee is also nice and skilled.
