From basic to personalized customer service, timeliness, industry knowledge and care, Austin Ryan is fantastic. They have accommodating customer hours, yet take care of their employees. Ilese, Pleasant Valley Manager, is THE BEST! She loves what she does and you can tell!
Austin Ryan Optika is by far the best. I have been using them for years Dr.Swartz makes the appointment so enjoyable almost like you are chatting with a friend and makes sure you have everything you need before you leave. They have also helped when I was in a contact emergency. Just fantastic all the way around
I've been using Austin Ryan for years and especially appreciated my most recent visit there and I worked with Sean who fitted me with three pair of glasses. Best fit and accuracy to date there or anywhere else! Nice selection of frames and easy to use insurance. Highly recommend!
I went in for my free pair of glasses covered by insurance after calling in to confirm they accept it. Dr was great, friendly, a few times I had to clarify I can’t add on any upgrades just get the free covered ones. Came in to pick up my glasses today and i’m told there is a “problem” and insurance did not cover the lenses- I’m told they are $80 out of pocket. I’m immediately confused and embarrassed because I can’t afford them, and I was not expecting to have to pay for glasses at all. It then becomes an emotional back and forth where I am saying I can not accept the glasses and reception is insisting I keep them, then saying I can just pay $10 a month. It gets to a point where I just walk out with the glasses thinking I will have to owe them back- I then look up my coverage and it all should have been free. I go back in to return them and hopefully find a new provider that will accept my insurance. At that point I’m told I can keep them and a mistake was made on their part. It was really embarrassing to have to constantly reiterate that I don’t have the money, I shouldn’t feel like I “got away” with anything because the glasses should have always been free. Super uncomfortable and confusing - now I need a new eye Dr. No fitting or anything.
I highly recommend Austin Ryan Optika. It’s an up to date and all in one vision center. Ilese and all the staff are wonderful. From the eye exam to the perfect fit is what it is about. I have been going for years and will not elsewhere. A+++
