Tampa Eye Clinic

I highly recommend the Tampa Eye Clinic in South Tampa. The staff are very professional and your appointment is handled in a very efficient way. No waiting time which in itself makes the experience much nicer.

I have always taken my son to Dr. Lorenzen at the location on MLK by St. Joes (Tampa Eye Center) but this location is much more convenient, so we went and saw Dr. Z. He was AWESOME!!!! I only went to Dr. Lorenzen because I thought he was the only ophthalmologist that saw kids, despite his condescending and curt attitude. I always felt like I had to patronize him just to get him to treat me as an equal (no, I’m not a dr, but get a grip-just because you are one doesn’t mean you’re better than anyone, not your patients or staff!) Not to mention, THe MLK office is a factory! Both my son and I loved the S. Tampa location - one fraction of the size of the MLK office, so much more intimate and Dr, Z was amazing. So down to earth and answered every single question my son had, without rushing him. And when I went into the exam room, Dr. Z took one look at my eye (broken blood vessel) and asked if I was ok, made sure I wasn’t in pain and explained that I simply has what equaled a bruise in my eye and I needed to give it time. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Z but I will also be switching to him from my current doc!

Best experience ever. Usually I don’t like doctors but they made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Russell is great and very informative. Also Fady’s customer service was excellent l recommend everyone to go to the south Tampa location. I love my glasses! 🤓

So pleased with the South Tampa Eye Clinic! Excellent eye exam and great selection of glasses! Everything is pristine and staff excellent! Easy access and still a part of The Tampa Eye Clinic on Martin Luther King and Gomez where we usually go! Highly recommend!!
