Target Optical

Okay I’ve been searching for a good optometrist office since my Papaw passed away over a decade ago… he was my optometrist for 20 years. I’ve tried many places over the years but never religiously went somewhere because it was never good service, they were always trying to hassle you into adding things on, or just seemed like they hated their jobs. I had the BEST experience today with Dr John Venezia and Tiffany Squires. They were both very personable and educated on questions I asked. Also, the technology made everything sooooo easy and seamless. I have been buying my glasses of Zenni the last decade and I’m ready for a nice pair which Tiffany helped me with. I also felt like I got a good deal for a nice pair of spectacles! Sooo happy 1000000000/10 service. Might actually get my eyes checked every year now haha. Thanks for being so lovely!

I had a medical eye issue and required extra time, service, a referral to a specialist, etc. Dr. Venezia gave me a thorough exam, helped with follow-up questions and concerns, and was very kind. His staff, especially Crystal, was very helpful in figuring out referral info and follow-up. I greatly appreciate their help in taking care of me.

Tiffany was amazing. She helped me pick out a great pair of Meta glasses and a cool pair of sunglasses for the sunny days ahead this summer!

I have been going to this particular Target Optical for years and the staff has always been kind and polite. Today I walked in few minutes early for a 11:40 appointment. The staff barely greeted me and ask me if I would like to sit on the bench outside. I waited until 11:55 then came back in to tell the staff what was taking so long, “the receptionist just replied, the doctor is with a patient” by the time I got my refund for my eye exam it had already been 20 minutes and the doctor still wasn’t out. I’d understand if the doctor was running late and the staff was apologetic and let me politely know, but they seem the least bit bothered. I will not be coming back.

The staff was so kind and responsive even while busy with multiple clients. The doctor was intelligent and kind—great experience—really impressed—took my whole family and we will be back!
