Holly was excellent! She not only got my lenses right, but replaced my frames when I mentioned that they were damaged! I only mentioned it during the fitting and she not only heard it, but was proactive about it! God Bless her!

The absolute worst experience I’ve had in the 17 years of eye exams. At the time I needed an eye exam to renew my contact prescription, I was going to Walmart Vision Center, but due to losing my insurance, I was calling around to see who had a lower cost as I was paying out of pocket. Over the phone with Target I was quoted $80-100. I arrived for my appointment and was already taken back as I was waiting over 15 minutes for the employees to stop their personal conversation to attend to the patients. Afterwards, I was told the cost was $256 - much higher than what I was quoted. When I asked why the price was higher, the young girl told me it was “per eye”. I had left without the contact fitting as the females doing my exam were not professional and they made me feel very uncomfortable. I reached out to Customer Sevice, in which they had me fill out a form and advised me the store would get back to me - after 6 months as reached out again with still no response. I had submitted 3 customer forms since July 2025 and still have yet to hear from this store, which led me to write a review.
Worst experience ever. I know they are starting and I was not going to review my horrible experience on how they did not want to honor my insurances prices, how rude and entitled was Dr Harris. And how bad I felt trying to pay for a service. But, My husband got a prescription he did not need at all.. went to a different provider and he was told you have better than 20/20 vision like he has had all his life.. The girls on the front ask customers for reviews and if you dare question what you are paying you get told to deal with the doctor and the doctor does not care to hear you or see what you are showing him. Getting schedule in was a very nice experience and that’s why the 2 stars. Hopefully Dr Harris was just having a bad day.
I’m definitely going to be changing eye doctors for both my daughter and I. My insurance covers standards contact lens exam so I decided to do contacts for my daughter and they never explained or brought up that they now only do premium contact exams and called me the next day saying I owed them money. That is absolutely unacceptable, they need to tell their patients, please beware before this happens to you. Then not to mention the person that took care of us yesterday at first said we didn’t have the prescription approval then turns out that we did. He had us under someone else until he finally figured it out, it was just a mess and I will definitely not be going back.
I had a disappointing experience at Target Optical at Tradition. During my initial visit for an eye exam, the staff was friendly and helpful. I received my glasses, but I returned shortly after because the prescription didn’t feel right. They sent the glasses back for adjustments, saying something was off. When the glasses were ready, no one called to let me know they had arrived. I ended up going to the store myself, only to find out they were already there. The staff apologized and admitted they should have contacted me. If they had called, I would have had more time to try the glasses and realize they still didn’t work, before the return or exchange window expired. Even after the adjustment, I continued having the same issues. I’ve tried to use the glasses multiple times, but I honestly see better without them. I can’t even use them to read. When I returned to the store again, the staff member made me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. She asked if it was my first time using progressive lenses, which it wasn’t. I’ve been wearing them for years. She seemed dismissive of my concerns. I told her I would give the glasses another try to see if my eyes would adjust, but they never did. Unfortunately, I had to travel shortly after that visit, so by the time I returned, the exchange window had closed. Despite paying a significant amount for these glasses earlier this year, I still can’t use them. I left feeling unheard and frustrated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.
