Teagle Optometry

So... this is a tale of two reviews because my initial visit was fine, and I have no complaints about that. However since receiving my glasses there has been a problem with the lenses that started around 90 days after receiving them and have gotten progressively worse - according to the person working at Teagle's front desk "it looks like a problem with the coating" (see attached photos - those aren't scratches!) The people at the front desk said that there was nothing they could do as they're outside warranty - although they also said they can usually help to replace these "within 1-2 years" (which I am in). I've worn glasses my whole life and this has never happened to another pair I've ever received. I do tend to keep a pair of glasses for about 2 years due to work insurance program - seems to me that if a manufacturing issue like the a problem with the coating is the issue here, the people at Teagle should work to make it right.

I had a great experience at Teagle Optometry as a return customer. The staff are all incredibly friendly and courteous. Casey helped me pick out my new glasses frames with the utmost patience and care, taking my requests into consideration every step of the way. She even helped me find the perfect pair of sunglasses! Thank you to the whole staff for a lovely visit.

Let's talk about quality of care right from the start of walking in. We were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. My elderly mom really needed this kind of human interaction to put her at ease. The technicians were very patient and explained every detail to her. They helped her with every step of examination, then she selected her eyeglasses. The office and staff are fabulous and easy to work with and Dr Teagle is equally patient and professional.

Needed a new optometrist after switching vision insurance, and Teagle was one of the first places recommended by the insurance company in my area. Overall great experience. My previous optometrist always had me waiting 30-45 minutes to even start my exam. Teagle was quick and efficient and I was in and done within about 40 minutes. (Granted, I’m quick when it comes to picking out my frames!). But the service was stellar. The kind girls up front were sweet and very helpful. I didn’t catch the name of the lady who helped me with my frames, but she was excellent with her customer service. She talked to me about what i liked and disliked in my current frames, and then gathered at least 15 for me to try on. She was genuine and honest with me about how each one looked, and she never made me feel rushed or pressured to choose. They would’ve let me try on all the frames in the store if i had wanted to. They were also kind enough to help me work with my insurance to get the best price on a second pair (Rx sunglasses!). I’m glad that I made this switch.

My son's replacement glasses took longer than expected. However, the office staff was very communicative and tried their best to move the process.
