I had to go to Templin to fill my eyeglass RX because the provider I have seen for years doesn’t take my new vision insurance.I told the technician when I got there the reason why I didn’t get the script filled at my regular doctor, as soon as my insurance card was checked by the technician, she said to me, “you know, you can have all your eye care done here and you won’t have any co-pay,” Right away, that bothered me, why would you try to take someone else’s patient from them? I was told to only choose the eyeglasses with a certain number on it, I wasn’t given a reason why. Because I get migraines she talked me into red transition lenses, which I did agree to, but for days it bothered me realizing it was a bad choice. I also tried to get my avulux migraine glasses redone there. The optician had never heard of them. Today I was called to pick up the glasses. When I got there I waited while I kept hearing a lot of trays being dug through. Then my phone rang. The message said, I was wondering if you could take a look at the glasses that you left with. Uh, we have your glasses here and I think you have another patient’s glasses. I’m not sure how the mix up happened. Then she explained to me that she tripped while carrying the trays and the glasses were all mixed up!!!! I went home and thought about it and decided that I didn’t want glasses that someone else may have had on their face. I called and told the technician so, she said we have them and I changed the nose pieces, they’re fine, the woman didn’t wear them. How did she know that? They were adjusted to her head and face before she left. Never in all my life have I had an experience like this. Even LensCrafters is more professional. I will NEVER go back there. If I could leave zero stars I would.
