My first experience I thought I was going to finally get the treatment I deserved. I had called prior to making appt to make sure they’d use vabysmo as my last only used Pavblu. I’d already gone 7 months without proper treatment by my first appointment after my original dr sent me to SERA. Dr. Dib is nice, polite and told me he’d file the PA based on my medical history as I’d had a bleed that hadn’t cleared since Nov 2025. I sent all my medical records prior. He told me not to call insurance when I asked about unless they denied it. Every staff member is nice and polite. Injections aren’t that bad although my eyes don’t like the betadine he used as it burned for hours, even flushing it didn’t help. Spring speculum isn’t bad at all. Dilation is very strong to drive home. I said I’d commit to a year if he filed the PA. I told him how my last had lied on my med recs & to my face. I asked him & staff never to lie to me. I need to know I can trust my docs. I’m driving 2 hours there 2 back. I called the PA department a week or so after my appointment. I was told they file PAs closer to my appt. Told her if she needed anything let me know. I never heard a word. I thought maybe it wasn’t showing up online because it was faxed but hadn’t been entered. I never dreamed it didn’t get done. Visit 2, I’m told that the PA was denied because I had to complete 3 Avastin injections prior. I let him do another avastin. He told me 1st appt that they’d file PA to bypass that based on med history. I called my ins but they say no PA was ever filed. I’m shocked. I realize that I’ve been lied to again by a doctor’s office I thought I could trust. They called the PA department, were told they were going to file it for my next. I’m not sure what to believe. Not sure what to do. If the PA gets filed correctly as I don’t see it getting denied w/my long med history. I’ve had an approval from original doc for it. I’ll gladly change my review. My biggest issue is being lied to. My eye still isn’t clearing up. I’m months late in my eye exam. Can’t get one til bleed is gone. Need new glasses for driving especially. If I change clinics again I have to start all over I’m told because it seems no one is willing to file a PA until I’ve had 3 injections that don’t work and I have proof it stopped working in my recs. Proof eyelea(no response), Pavblu worse bleed. Proof vabysmo does! I can’t go another 2 months w/o medication. I’m terrified it’s never going to clear.

TN Retina is a pleasant place. Overall the wait time and over bookings are beyond horrible. If the wait time and over bookings are improved I would give a 5 star.
I was referred to Tennessee Retina and met Dr. Bib and his team. The entire process from the front desk to check out was thorough, efficient, attentive and personable. All of my questions were answered and I left their office more informed and better equipped. Thank you to the whole Tennessee Retina Murfreesboro Team for an amazing experience!
Wait times are ridiculous, scheduling is difficult and it’s incredibly impersonal. On top of this, they provide no after care instructions for almost any procedures despite there being thorough literature to the contrary which is incredibly concerning. A few of the staff are great but the doctors and the overall treatment are less than desirable and I will be seeking alternative care
I have been treated at this practice for more than 20 years, following an accident that resulted in a torn retina. I was very pleased with the surgery results and follow-up every 6 months. My doctors have been very knowledgeable and skilled. They and their staff are caring and professional. I would definitely refer family and friends to this practice.
