Dr. Jake Young and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I’m currently being monitored for possible glaucoma, and they make the entire testing process completely stress free. Dr. Young takes his time, explains everything clearly, and truly cares about his patients. The office staff is friendly and efficient as well. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with my eye doctor (Jake Young). His communication was excellent from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything clearly during my appointment and afterward made sure I understood the results and next steps. I truly appreciated his honesty with my diagnosis and the way he worked with me all around to find the best path forward. What stood out to me even more is that this is a business of faith, and that showed through the care, patience, and compassion I received. He was professional, thorough, and genuinely caring throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor who listens, explains, and truly cares about his patients.
Wow these people have got it going on. Very professional, very nice and I found out while we were there they have been around for over 40 years now. Dr Young is the best and filled us in on the procedure. I just had 3 great visits so far and going for more. Yes I would recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you and the staff for your comfort 🙏
I made what I thought was my yearly appointment which my insurance covers with a $10.00 copay. The staff and Doctor I thought were great. The tech did most of the tests with me and then at one point she brought me out to the hallway and put my up to a machine. I had never seen that before and wasn't sure what it was. But didn't think to much about it. The Doctor came in and stated everything looked good same as last year. A few little floaters and the beginning of cataracts, said the same thing last year, gave me a script for glasses, same as last year. Went out to pay my copay. The lady at the desk said they weren't sure what the bill was due to they had to process it through my insurance. My eyes were dilated so again just went on my merry way. 3 weeks later I get a bill for $165.00. I was very confused. Called them. The first lady stated that it looked like they put it through the wrong insurance as she can see the one from last year. Then I got a call from another lady that stated yes, it was the way it was coded and that to put it through the other insurance would be a difficult, but she will pass it along to someone for further explanation. Then I get a woman called Mona, she stated that the Doctor determined it was medical (even though he saw me for about 5 minutes). I said just to put it through my other insurance. She said that's insurance fraud. So I said well, I'm not paying it, have the tech pay for it. She said no, we can't due that and hung up on me. Then I get a text from a collection company, I saw the Doctor on 6/22/2026. After calling both insurance places. I'm stuck with the bill. They never communicated to me that I would have a bill and that my eye appointment was a medical issue. The refraction test is extra that was not communicated as well nor did I get the results from it. They did say that they will take $29.00 off for the refraction. Make sure you ask questions and don't assume. Needless to say I will not be back , its a shame due to that I really liked the Doctor.
I am a new patient but the practice was super accommodating and they were able to see me relatively quickly. Everyone I worked with at my first appointment had excellent customer service skills. I felt comfortable and heard as a patient. My mother has been a patient of theirs for years and finally convinced me to go see for myself. Glad I listened to her!
