Dr. Perez and her staff are the best. I really enjoy going I the store for an evaluation or looking for glasses. She spent a plenty,of time with me and explained everything to me several times. I would highly recommend Texas State Optical for two reasons: #1. Price. I was a new patient and was never completely happy with how my glasses came out with the other place’s I had gone to in past years. I decided to with Texas State Optical but was expecting it to be more expensive but hoping it would be worth the price. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not more expensive than Eye Tex, Omni Vision or Visionworks. Please don’t think I am trashing these other places because these other places also have very satisfied customers and I was treated professionally at these places but I was never satisfied with my glasses. #2. The optometrist and staff. The optometrist explained in detail why I was having trouble with my past glasses which was not explained to me before. She gave me excellent recommendations for which glasses lenses were best for me and why. I felt as though I got a detailed thorough eye exam with explanations of the results.

Highly Recommend. I had to share experience if your looking for someone who is going to help and not only take your money. Last year, my former optometrist provided quick visit, new glasses that were blurry and then recommended I get an 2nd. pair of glasses. So, my family recommend Dr. Victoria Perez. I am a senior person, live outside of SA, blurred wavy line vision. Visit was extremely thorough, personal and resolved. Dr. Perez is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. My issue with wavy, blurred vision was diagnosed, actually explained (on screen) what each procedure performed said about my vision, always asking me if I understood , took her time, did not feel rushed and established profile for next visit and as a senior explained what I need to keep my eyes healthy. Most of all I can see with my new glasses and all within my budget price. Dr. Victoria Perez and her staff go above and beyond and I highly recommend.
