I hate leaving a negative review, but I would strongly recommend avoiding this office. Every single time we have gone in, the wait has been at least an hour. During our first visit, his measurements were taken incorrectly, and when we picked up the glasses we ordered through them, they were literally falling off his face. We were told they would not exchange them for a different pair, so we ended up spending $500 on two pairs of glasses that did not fit and could not even be used. I was honestly shocked, but I let it go because at that point I felt like there was nothing else I could do. It was extremely frustrating because this was not something we did wrong. I have never personally had to wear glasses, so maybe I was naïve about the process, but every visit felt like we were immediately pushed into getting new glasses through their office. Almost every appointment resulted in a new RX. We now have 7 pairs of glasses for our child that are just sitting unused because each time we went in, the prescription changed. I understand I should have gotten a second opinion sooner because I questioned if this was normal, but I am also not an eye doctor and trusted the process. The final straw was receiving a call that they had accidentally let their TRICARE contract expire and needed to cancel our follow-up appointment, or we would need to pay out of pocket until it was resolved. When we requested our child’s medical records, we were initially told they could not provide them because of HIPAA laws... which is incorrect with this circumstance. Our child is under the age of 5 and then I was then told I actually can receive the exam notes but there would be a $30 charge. The appointments with the doctor themselves were always extremely short, usually less than five minutes. While I understand quick appointments can sometimes be helpful for pediatric patients, I often felt like there was not enough time to ask questions or fully understand what was going on. Especially after waiting an hour+ each time to just see the provider. I understand offices get busy, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. The communication has been disappointing, and overall the office feels very poorly managed. This has been a very negative experience for our family, and I would not recommend.

Very professional staff. The doctor is kind and efficient. While they tell you, the appointment could take 2 to 3 hours, it was more like one hour and I was appreciative. This was not our first visit so that may have made the visit shorter. And my child had no problems.

We are so grateful for Dr Chhabra! He was able to identify issues with my kids’ eyesight early on, and for the past two years he has been proactively working with us to better manage and improve their vision. He truly cares about his patients’ eye health and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. We especially appreciate how accommodating the office is with our big family appointments. They respect our time and do their best to make everything run smoothly. The staff is always good at setting expectations of a full exam vs follow ups, and we are grateful they’re able to run our insurance benefits ahead of time to have a co-pay estimate ready by the time of our appt. Their business office is also easy to talk to and followed up with me when we had a hiccup with our insurance. Very thankful for their help. We are very happy with the care we’ve received and highly recommend this practice.

We were looking for an eye specialist to evaluate my son’s eyes because he had chalazions on both eyelids and needed surgery. From the moment we had our first appointment with Dr. Chhabra, we felt confident we were in the right place. He immediately knew what needed to be done and clearly explained the next steps. What impressed us most was how quickly he helped move things along—he even managed to put my son at the top of the list for surgery without hesitation. Just a week later, we were already on surgery day. The procedure went so smoothly, and we could not be more pleased with the care and service we received. Dr. Chhabra and his team were professional, efficient, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. We are so grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Chhabra. Five stars!

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I read the reviews beforehand, and many people mentioned that the office seems focused on making money and charging for everything. I completely agree. However, my biggest concern is how unapproachable they are. If you try calling the office, don’t bother, your call goes to a third party scheduling service that has nothing to do with the clinic itself. They cannot answer any questions, and the only option they offer is to schedule another appointment (and pay again) just to ask something simple. In my case, my daughter is farsighted. They told us her prescription had not changed. But when we picked up her glasses (from a different optical shop), she couldn’t see everything was blurry. The doctor had added astigmatism and an axis to her prescription, something she never had before and that was never mentioned to us during the visit. I called to ask whether there was a mistake or to get a quick explanation, but the customer service team had no idea. They only schedule appointments, and it is impossible to speak with anyone from the actual office, not even a manager. Now I have to take another day off work, my daughter has to miss school, and we have to pay even more money for something that could have been resolved with a simple phone call. And if the prescription was incorrect, I will have to pay out of pocket for new glasses. It is extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this place at all. While we were waiting in the room after the initial testing, two other parents were also complaining about how poorly trained the staff is when working with children. I agree. My daughter is around 10, so she managed fine, but younger kids were being treated like adults, even though it’s harder for them to stay still or read quickly. The staff seemed rushed and impatient, as if the priority was to move people through as fast as possible rather than provide good care. They charge for absolutely everything, and they’ve created a system where even the simplest question requires you to drive over an hour in my case, and pay $$$$ just to speak to someone in person. It feels like no matter how many mistakes they make, they will just have you come back and charge you again.
