The Bender Eyecare

When I arrived to pick up my daughter's glasses—accompanied this time by my son's service dog—I immediately saw the look of disapproval on the doctor's face. The receptionist was very kind and said it was fine, but the doctor walked over and said, "No, [not] here!" Looking embarrassed, the kind receptionist had to ask us to take the dog out. That would be fine if they didn't allow dogs, but they actually have a dog there—a large one—that has been there since my very first visit.

Today was my first time seeing Dr. Bender. The receptionist is really nice and enjoyed my visit! Can't wait to bring my child to see Dr. Bender. At times of check out I got baked goods from the doctor and you don't see this type of service. I will definitely be back for my yearly exam.

As a patient for over five years, I highly recommend Bender Eyecare! Dr. Bender is a caring optometrist who is fast, efficient, and extremely thorough. The staff is amazing as well — always thoughtful and willing to go out of their way to give you the best experience, whether it’s helping you find the most flattering frames for your face or working within your budget to find the perfect glasses. My youngest child got her first pair of glasses here, and just last month she completed a contact lens class and is now wearing her first trial contacts. The care and patience shown throughout every step have been outstanding. We truly couldn’t ask for a better eye care office. Update, my son just ordered his first pair of adult glasses today. I called on Thursday & they got us in on Saturday. He was impressed of how quick the entire process went, though he joked that missing half a day of school would’ve been nice too.

Really liked my experience here. Dr. Bender seems like a warm person and took her time with the eye exam and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I didn’t get new eye glasses but just had lenses changed. On the plus, loved the brownies. My daughter was overjoyed!😉 Also liked that they hire young students for front desk. Seemed super nice. Yes, I totally recommend! 👍🏽

If only i could rate Zero I would have done it Called around 11 am on Saturday 8/1/26 asking the guy who answered if i can get a vision test or i need an appointment & told him i hv glasses & will need lenses He told me we close at 1pm so come before that I rushed to be there ,arrived 12:10 Then he told me SIMPLY oh i thought u already have ur prescription & i told him no i asked for an appointment Instead of apologising he was rude & left while i was still talking to him Dr. Bender plz try to hire more qualified ppl next time 😕😕😕
