The Eye Associates – Punta Gorda

Great experience setting up an appointment, did my intake in a few minutes and was immediately called in to a room. Angie was super amazing and professional and did an excellent job performing the tests and answering all the questions I had. She treated me with the upmost respect and her caring shows the love she has doing her job. Dr. McCracken was also very communicative, asked me any concerns I had and was super professional. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this practice.

What a pleasant team. Well coordinated and efficient. Thorough exam process and provides great explanations of all aspects of the exam. I’d strongly recommend this business and specifically Dr McCracken and her team.

The staff and Dr Debra at this location is absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed Monica! It was my first time ever getting my eyes checked and they made it so easy and welcoming . I was nervous as all get out but it was an amazing experience. So I thank you and look forward to seeing this team again!

Ask for what you will be charged before the appointment. I was told my annual exam would be covered by insurance but when I sat in the chair, found out the charge was $200. Thankfully, I had a tech who said they wanted to be sure what I would be charged before they started the work. My husband was told his exam would be covered under Medicare; it was not and we have been billed $147.31. Buyer beware! I am told since the change from Quigley to Eye Associates, the policies for upfront pricing have changed and prices have increased (told this by an employee).

The reception and technical staff were a good mix of professionalism and friendliness. Dr. Quinn had an excellent bedside manner and spoke very informatively and confidently about a plan of action. Although I didn’t get the quick-fix answer I was hoping for, I feel confident in his recommendations.
