I like the fact that I was able to get an appointment sooner than I expected. Staff was great and Dr Ditkoff have good bedside manner. Very professional, accommodating and knowledgeable. You feel at ease as soon as you talk to him. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bhoiwala is a very qualified Dr that has the full knowledge and expertise of his position. He listens to the hard questions and comes up with gratifying answers.
Sadly, it is impossible for me to leave a better review. While both doctors that I saw were wonderful. Pleasant. Informative. Helpful. The support staff and unfortunately just the sheer size of the practice… Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review I went to the eye care center of New Jersey as an emergency patient having an eye episode. They were wonderful to me and took me right away. I had to follow up at a specialist, which was also part of their practice, but for a retina specialist and that was wonderful. Although a long weight, it was wonderful in the office and everyone there was very nice The problem was afterwards I had an eye exam and a glaucoma test. Everything went well and when I got my glasses, they were unbearable. Everything looked warped to one side and something clearly wasn’t right. So I made an appointment to go back. When I called and they answered, I explained that I am a patient. I go to the Verona office. They never said what office they were. I called the Verona office. The calls seemingly get deferred to their Bloomfield office. I was not told that over the phone. I made an appointment. I went to the Verona office and they didn’t have me there as having an appointment that day. While they sat me down to try to figure it out I watched the eye doctor leave for the day. You think they would have spoken with her and said this patient here to get double checked, but no, why would they bother. They then called me back over and said you don’t have an appointment there’s nothing we can do for you. The doctors not even here now. I’m like yes I know. I just watched them leave 10 minutes ago when you knew this was already a problem why wouldn’t you have said something? They then basically said I could rush over to the Bloomfield office and hope they’re still there when I get there. Which I didn’t think was worth it at the time or I could go back in the next day and I had plans for the next day and could not make another appointment. I told him you know what I guess. Just forget it. I’ll find a new eye doctor when it’s time to get checked and I just won’t wear my glasses that I paid a lot of money for. I’ll just buy cheap ones at the dollar store or something. The girl said oh OK at the reception desk and I’ve never heard back from them again. It is absolutely ridiculous that great doctors have such horrible support staff that they didn’t try to follow up with me for the last two weeks about that. I will not be returning to the eye care center of America no matter how good the doctors are because they failed me. There’s many many places I can go to get my eye exam done or to get fitted for glasses or whatever. I will go back to the specialist when I need to, but I will be finding another eye doctor who’s not such a big conglomerate that they Don’t care if their patients are dissatisfied or follow up with them. Very sad what the medical communities turning into all over.
if you’re a young person with an eye issue, go literally anywhere else. Dr. Chen has zero empathy or compassion and just kept telling me all about his geriatric patients and their “priorities” when all i wanted was a legitimate solution for my infected eye. I’ve never met such a condescending doctor before in my life and if i could give 0 stars i would. Thanks for nothing!
This was my second visit for Dr Gould to check the status of my cataracts . I was taken in right away and wait time minimal for Dr Gould. I am pleased with Dr Gould; he does not rush into surgical procedures unless it is necessary. I have a follow up appointment next year. The staff was very pleasant. Very pleased with all aspects of the practice!
