The Eye Center of North Florida – Chipley

The staff is passive aggressive unfortunately, We went here because its local which is why we switch to this office when we got better insurance. However this is our 3rd appt in a month time that we have had wait excessively past our appt time each visit has costed us around 3 hours of time even being the early 8 am appt time slot didn't improve wait time. I was hopeful our 1st visit was just due to it being a busy holiday week but that doesnt seem to be the case. I have worked dr offices before and understand the process of scheduling but to be routinely an hour plus behind appt is just poor management. I also typically have to leave a voicemail instead of speaking to a person when I call and instead of calling me back I get a text message from what appears is a employee personal phone which is not HIPPA compliant.

The ladies at the front desk are absolutely amazing and so so very nice!!! But the one who first took me back to dilate my eyes and do the initial stuff was a little inpatient and also a little rude maybe she was having a bad day don’t know for certain but everyone else was so so nice especially when they brought me back the second time to see the doctor I was very happy with her and her assistant they were the nicest people I have ever dealt with and even the lady helping me with order my glasses I think her name was miss Kim she was very helpful and very nice for my glasses covered where I was only paying $58 out of pocket!!!! Highly recommend to everyone!!!

After seeing six different eye doctors over the course of a year for an ongoing eye condition, I can honestly say this was the first doctor who truly took the time to listen to me. While he was not able to give me a definitive diagnosis, he carefully listened to the entire history of my condition, how it started, and everything I have experienced over the past year. He explained his thoughts on what he believes may be causing the problem, which was more information and guidance than I had received from previous providers. The entire staff was outstanding. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the technician who brought me back was kind, professional, and thorough, and the doctor himself was extremely friendly, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Feeling heard and respected as a patient means a lot, especially when dealing with a long-term medical issue. I truly appreciate the care I received and will continue to return for my eye care needs. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient here for about 3 years. Everyone here is welcoming, they are friendly, & will work with you in ANY situation to get positive results. 😊 The Doctors & Nurses really care about your eyesight, & will work diligently to see that your vision can be the best it can be! I just had a cataract removed 7 days ago @ the Panama City location, & it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend this Eye Center for all your vision needs.

Everything went great. The people were wonderful. If I had to say one thing negative, it would be my appointment was at 9 and they called me back about 9:15. All the staff are super nice and welcoming.
