Beautiful new office for exams and eyewear. I’ve seen these doctors, technicians and eyewear specialists for over 15 years and they’ve taken excellent care of all my glasses prescriptions, annual exams and cataract post op. Service has consistently been excellent!

My experience was disappointing. Three years ago, I came in with a specific complaint: intermittent blurry vision in my left eye that would come and go. I was told it was astigmatism and was prescribed glasses. At my next annual exam, I reported the same symptom. Again, I was told it was astigmatism, and my prescription was changed. (Oddly enough, during that visit they moved the astigmatism correction to the other eye—and I had to pay extra for the lens change.) Recently, after seeing a neurologist for facial nerve symptoms, I mentioned my blurry vision. When I explained that my eye doctor had attributed it to astigmatism, the neurologist advised me to get a second opinion because astigmatism is generally a stable condition and does not typically come and go. I called the office and was told I only have a very small astigmatism. That still does not explain the intermittent vision changes that originally brought me in. My main concern is that the symptom I came to investigate was never properly explained or explored. After multiple visits over several years, I was still left without answers.
The eye care center took over my previous optometrist office recently and unfortunately it’s been a downhill slide. They increase the price on eye exam and push my son to get exam twice a year for extra payment. I paid for his eyeglass 3 months ago and never received it. When I called to find out how much longer they can’t update me and blame everything on lab delays with no time frame available!! I finally asked for the refund last week and have yet to get my money back as they tried to block that process as well.
Dr. Kwong is friendly, knowledgeable and professional and I always feel appreciated as a client there. Her staff are equally as kind and helpful. Couldn’t recommend the Eyecare Center more!
The staff at the EyeCare Center and the optometrist I am seeing, Dr. Urbaniak, deliver amazing care in a very friendly and professional environment. Their new facility is amazing as well. (Make sure to double-check Google driving directions - the entrance is on the side of the building facing Bellevue Way, don't be misled by directions leading you to the back of the building.)
