The issue with The Eye Doctors, is NOT the staff IN office OR the Doctors. Dr MacDonald has taken care of me, my husband, AND my mother. THEIR BILLING department and their ability to CORRECTLY file insurance? THAT is the ONLY reason I refuse to go back. My mom has been trying for MONTHS to get them to straighten out her insurance billing since they billed it incorrectly and to the wrong insurance. My husband has had them mess up his billing SEVEN TIMES. He is VERY patient, ONLY because Dr MacDonald in Paola has been AMAZING with his complex eye care. She REALLY is great! She was great with my care. Mom REALLY liked her. Unfortunately, their billing department is utterly inept and absolutely horrid to deal with. Their front desk girls are AMAZING. I feel bad, because I know they deal with a lot, because their billing is not handled IN office anymore. Ever since that changed? It has been difficult to justify going back there for me.
