The tech before the Eye Doctor made my daughter feel comfortable when she was nervous. My daughter would get nervous and say the wrong letter but knew what it was she was trying to say. She laughed with her and told her she was fine and she could understand what she meant. The doctor was nice and extremely to the point. Which is amazing especially when there was very little wait time

Excellent eye care. The location is very convenient. The building isn't new, but is well maintained. The waiting area is bright and cheerful. The receptionist was knowledgeable, kind, helpful and efficient. The lady who did my initial eye exam was fabulous and took the time to explain the tests and answered my questions. The doctor spent quite a bit of time with me making sure my prescription was perfect. The lady who does the glasses also spent a good deal of time with me helping me try on and choose the correct frames and helping me get what I needed without exceeding my budget. Overall, the entire staff was great! I even found out that The Eyesight can do my diabetic eye exam so I don't have to drive to Richmond for that anymore. It's a blessing to have these knowledgeable professionals in our community.
BEWARE of their "affordable frames" I went there in November got my glasses and even with insurance paid 80$ for ONE pair. Now I got a pair of frames that were a 120$ I would consider that an affordable pair which it was one of their more affordable options. My 1 year warranty only comes with one replacement which is fine. But unfortunately my frames broke right at the hinge, it literally popped right out all that was holding it there was glue. Then after I got my replacement they told me next time I would have to pay the full 120$ if it broke again. Even though it was a cheap pair of frames only held with glue. Then they tell me if I want different frames I'll have to pay out of pocket for both my frames and lens. Which to me is ridiculous to pay all that money when the frames popping out are not my fault. They offered me no real solutions and told me there was nothing they could do about the frames and they wouldn't offer me any type of discount for my next pair if these broke again the same way. I cannot afford all new lens and frames from there that are decent quality straight out of pocket. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I'd hate for someone to have to go through what I did when you can go to somewhere else and spend the same amount of money for better quality frames. I've added a picture and circled were they broke, that screw only holds the hinge in not the long part. The long part is just held onto it with glue
Horrible. I had an appointment for my elderly father suffering with late stages of dementia. I explained to this office that it serves him better to wait in the car with his homecare nurse until they are ready for him. When they called his name, I told them I would get him. Meanwhile, they gave his appointment to another patient. They couldn't wait five minutes for me and his homecare nurse to bring him in. Unreal. Absolutely zero compassion and customer service.
There are 2 reasons I will not go back but the main reason is my husband left well before his appt at 3:30 but there was a storm and the way he traveled to get there from Maryland there were several trees down so he had to take another route which would have made him 15 min late . They had him reschedule , I could see if it would have been for him going to be extremely late . IMO they are more about profit than being concerned or caring about their clients . I will find another eye doctor who actually cares. The staff done can be rude but I over look that because I chalk it up as having a bad day . This has nothing to do financially on our side only about the office caring for their customers clients or patients .
