I couldn't ask for anything more. Always prompt, professional, and courteous. At least 12 appointments now. This includes all of the front desk staff (I honestly do not know any of your names, but I do know that you treat me very kindly every time I've been there!). And former optometrist (Dr. Spatz). And especially Dr. Kyle Whiteside (and another dentist once) along with Emily and every other dental assistant which worked with us, and including Amber (the oral hygienist). All have always treated me well. They have no problems accommodating for my paraplegia. Explain what they are doing. And why they are doing it. Appreciated. Even if I found somewhere closer to home, the ride isn't so bad, and the service provided has always been worth the trip for me. Thank you, North Lakes Community Clinic - Oconto, Wisconsin. Sincerely, Jason L. Cretton

My son and myself have been going to Northlakes for dental care for over 12 years. We both have had the same hygienist the entire time (Heidi) and she's absolutely wonderful!!! I called yesterday with swollen gums and sore teeth. Julie at the front desk got me in promptly. Autumn and the Dr. Were very professional and super nice!! Just had my tooth pulled yesterday and I'm thankful they're there to help. I'd definitely recommend them!!
You will be uncomfortable, I mean it was just with one doctor but the multiple fillings I have had and even cleaning, because my word, each tool that went into my mouth I felt like I would die. I mean just like he didn't really ask if you were uncomfortable, or warn you when he was about to do something. Just I felt so unprepared. Also the only thing that was supposed to hurt was my tooth, but no, my entire jaw hurt bc of the way he was prying it open, and also the side of my lip had a crack on it bc of how he was literally digging in my mouth. I was squeezing my leg the entire time. And this doctor's name is Joshua Simpson. But I recall another guy doing it and man I loved it so so much, so if you wanted a doctor that would treat the patient well, make sure to look into Peyton Molling.
My 4 year old had his first ever dentist visit here. He was very nervous. As was I since I had terrible experiences as a child making me fear the dentist for a long time. But this experience couldn't have been better! The dentist was so lovely. She talked him through everything she was doing and she even let his little sister come up close and watch as she explained what she was doing. When my 2 year old had her turn she was not scared at all after watching how wonderful everything went with her big brother. The dentist again let my son come up close and watch as she explained what she was doing. I have since had to have multiple visits for myself to get cavities filled and cleanings done. Every time is such a good experience. And being a single mom with no family near by I have had to bring my 2 small children with me while I have to get my dental work done. They sat in the room with me while I got my work done and everyone made us feel comfortable even though I am sure it was not a normal occurrence. One instantance there were some workers who helped out by taking the kids for a walk and kept them occupied since I was having 2 cavities filled and the kids were getting antsy. That was above and beyond in my opinion. I never expected anyone to do that for us and I was beyond grateful. I have had 2 different dentists help me since the original dentist went on maternity leave and I was nervous about having to get a new dentist seeing as she was so wonderful but the new dentist was also just as amazing! I seriously cant speak highly enough of my many great experiences there. Ive had so many bad and terrible experiences at different dentists throughout my life and it made me hate going to the dentist. Im so glad I found this place and I am able to start my children's dental health journey in such a good light. I want them have good experiences at the dentist so they will continue to enjoy going and give them good oral health habits and good memories at the dentist that they can take into adulthood so they dont stray from the dentist like I did. This place is also huge there are so many exam rooms its quite incredible. I have only ever visited small places with an average of 2 rooms so seeing a place with at least 20 was cool. They did our xrays right in the exam room. Every time I had cavities filled they did it so fast. The team worked efficiently and they all worked well together. I really felt like they all enjoyed what they do which always helps make patients feel more comfortable. Everyone is always so polite and so kind and lovely. I love going to the dentist now which is so weird to say but Northlakes Community Clinic in Oconto has apparently changed me. 10/10 recommended
Had a root canal done when I was 5 by a different clinic that gave me severe PTSD - I have been terrified of the dentist ever since. As soon as I had the ability to say no I don’t need to go to the dentist you can’t make me I stopped going. It’s been 14 years since having my teeth looked at. Not only was Emily, the dental assistant I saw before the Doctor, very personable, comforting, supportive, funny, with a great bedside manner, she was very communicative in what was going on when my appointment was running a little behind schedule. She told me during my X-rays I was doing great, talked me thru everything, and made sure I felt comfortable by even asking me if I wanted the fan turned towards me because she noticed I was getting warm. Dr. Whiteside informed me of the condition on my teeth and was detailed, nonjudgemental, and supportive. He outlined a plan, gave me options, and reassured me that he and Emily would be with me every step of the way even mentioning “we’re not here to judge you, we’re here to help you.” He explained it to me in terms I was able to understand, asked if I needed anything explained to me again, and offered immense support the entire time. 20/10 would recommend NLCC and 1000/10 would recommend Emily and Dr. Whiteside.
