The team at RGW was exceptional in a difficult time. I was traveling and unexpectedly needed surgery. I got an appointment right away, surgery the next day and terrific follow-up care. Drs. Sobol, Khanifar, and Jin are terrific.
The front desk staff are amazing and have been very kind and professional. However, this is my second visit, and I have now been here for over two hours, which is extremely frustrating. There was no communication beforehand to let me know that I would be receiving dilating drops or a dye injection, so I was unprepared for the length and nature of the appointment. During my first visit, the doctor simply shined a light in my eye, and I left without receiving a diagnosis or much explanation. Now, on my second visit, I am once again waiting to be seen by the doctor after an excessive amount of time. It feels as though appointments have been overbooked, and the lack of communication and efficiency has made this experience very disappointing. I appreciate the front desk staff, but after two visits and continued frustration, I have learned my lesson and intend to seek care elsewhere. Patients deserve clear communication, timely care, and answers regarding their health concerns.
I am very thankful to Dr. Sanders. He has been my provider for over a decade now. I came to him for a laser treatment for my retina back in 2014. Every since then I have had no issues with my eye. I am very thankful for him saving my vision and checking annually on my eye health. Thank you for your knowledge and expertise Dr. Sanders!
For years I've had monthly appointments at Retina Group of Washington, in Greenbelt, MD, and my visit on June 18 fit the usual pattern -- all to the good. Each member of the staff did their job well -- receptionist, eye chart test and eye pressure check, retina scan, and treating edema with an injection. The injection will give me sharper vision for a few weeks. Everything went well. Dr. Desai, who administered the injection, did his usual excellent job.
Dr Padidam was recommended to me and she is definitely an excellent professional. She made me feel at ease about everything concerning my eyes health. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
