I had an eye emergency and was terrified. The kindness and understanding by the staff I spoke to on the phone helped keep me calm. When I got there I was taken back almost immediately. The tech was also very kind and understood I was afraid and the doctor was fantastic! Im not quite out of the woods yet, but I feel a 1000 times better than I did before I called them. I did have to drive out to Fairfax from DC on a Saturday, but they made room for me and were even prepared for the worst case scenario when I got there. HIGHLY recommend!

Great practice, staff is very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and you will receive a warm greeting from the front desk. Dr. DO and his technicians are very kind and patient as well as knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this Dr DO and his practice. Dr. DO is very dedicated to his patients.
I do not recommend this office. The first time I went to this practice only one of their two retina imaging machines was working and I ended up being there for 2 1/2 hours waiting for my turn at the machine and then 5 minutes with the doctor. This time neither machine was working. I was there for 90 minutes and I was giving two referrals for imaging at other locations.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Appointments usually run on time. Dr Melamud is very professional and kind.
Dr. Melamud administered an Avastin injection very carefully after explaining the need for it. Everything went smoothly in the office with the nice staff and administrators. It was a great appointment!
