Thomas Eye Group

I highly recommend Thomas Eye Group, Dr Brown and his staff. I have issues that were compounded by a stroke. My eyes were thoroughly examined today and I had a complete understanding of all the issues when I left the office. Everyone in this office is highly experienced and professional. I am very grateful for their knowledge and understanding.

"I would not recommend Thomas Eyecare Group. I’ve been a long-time resident of Gwinnett County. When Thomas Eyecare first opened, my son was a teenager, and we went there for eye care. Fast forward to may 18 2026—I’m now on SSDI with Humana insurance, and Thomas Eyecare is conveniently located down the street. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very negative. Here’s why: 1. The first person you see when you walk in was neither pleasant nor helpful. 2. At checkout, there were no clear instructions on how to get my prescription filled. 3. After checking out, you have to speak with the young woman sitting at the desk by the glasses. She acted really bougie , But you're at work , with an attitude—like she didn’t want to help. She checked my insurance to see what it would cover for glasses, told me it ‘isn’t very much,’ and didn’t point me toward any affordable options. She acted as if she didn’t want to waste her time because she assumed I couldn’t afford glasses there. I would recommend Brookwood Eyecare on Sugarloaf Road , They are professional, extremely help , caring and walk you through the entire process. My insurance changed that's the only reason why I came to Thomas. I would not recommend thomas eye care Lilburn establishment.

I strongly recommend Thomas Eye Group. Everybody was extremely nice and helpful. A little shout out for Linda, the lady that helped me with the contact lens. She was nice and patient. She made my first experience with contact lenses enjoyable. Thank you so much to everybody. I will be driving 50 minutes again to enjoy this wonderful service.

Had another great experience at the Thomas Eye Group from the check-in desk (the lady whose name I totally forgot sorry) she was very welcoming and Ashley and Dr Jones two great ladies who have the most patience, I had two active boys with back to back appts. They did what they had to do took their time explained things and it was just overall a great feeling not to be rushed or pressured especially with two busy bodies who can’t sit still and want to touch everything. Definitely would recommend if you need a pediatric eye doctor.

Awesome from start to finish. Ashley was super friendly with the initial checks. Dr. Brown is extremely friendly and knowledgable. He sets you right at ease. Very personable. Linda took great care of me with the contacts, again super nice. The whole team rocks.
