Not saying the Dr isn't doing his job well, but all reflect as one. Meaning your employees reflect on you and your business. Today May 24th, my grandmother who is 81yrs old (Mary Bolton) had to call your office to reschedule an eye surgery. Noting, she can barely get around as it is, she also has a stay-at-home caregiver 6hrs out of each day, and can not walk without a walker, and can barely get out due to her feet and knees. Her feet swell up as big as a softball, she can barely put her shoes on. Anyway she called your office today and spoke with the receptionist at the front desk about a rescheduling, mind my grandmother can be very outspoken, but in this case, Not at all! My grandmother was more professional than she was. She was very rude, and didn't seem to care who she was or why she had to do so. Not only was she rude as HELL she also told her that she no longer needed to come there due to her rescheduling. My grandmothers request before they assigned her surgery was for them to please allow her to go to a certain Eye Dr of her choice. My grandmother pays for her own insurance, and this allows her to pick which DR's she would like to go to and so forth, and of course, she doesn't like change, as well as many others. So when they set up her eye surgery they scheduled it for Skyline Medical Center. Not that they don't do GREAT jobs but its about the whole "change" thing. So with that being said, you should always think about someone's issue with why they can't come to an appointment, not be self-centered one-track minded. I mean Isn't this what she gets paid to do?? If you don't like your job lady, pick another one, you should have more respect for your patients than that, and you shouldn't have to have someone who's only worked in fast food, tell you as a receptionist, how you should have handled that call. I myself wouldn't have handled it as well, but you should reli be made to give her a personal phone call and tell her how sorry you are because you didn't want to understand her circumstances! Other than that, this is a well-fit place.
