The Doc Jerrod Nelson was a pleasure to work with! A good kind man. Leah,Lilly and Candy were very kind and so easy to work with. My eye exam was quick and easy! I have had the best care possible for well over 10 years at Total Eye Care. I have an annual diabetic eye exam and Dr. Kavanagh has answered all of my questions. I would confidently recommend them to anyone.
The lady that sits in the area where the glasses are is absolutely horrible. Every year I am amazed she still has a job. Telling me I shouldn't look at the glasses because my insurance doesn't cover them. Like I can't pay for whatever glasses I want. Another time she told me I could not get blue light blocking because my insurance doesn't cover it. Well I went to Wyoming to get away from that sad lady, and guess what? My glasses are blue light blocking and my insurance paid for it. That lady is the worst. Go to Wyoming, they are super kind.
Had an 8am appointment. Showed up to a locked door and a dark office. No staff arrived until after 8:08am. No apologies or explanation. I would suggest either having your staff arrive a little early or not scheduling appointments until a few minutes after open time to allow for your staff to arrive and prepare themselves for the day. Very unprofessional
We normally go to the Blaine location and have always had a good experience. I called on a Friday afternoon and the concern about my sons red eye was taken seriously. I was scheduled for an appointment in North Branch an hour later. Short wait once we got there. It was clear Dr Nelson was doing his best to provide good, thorough exams and trying to stay on time as well. Had a good experience overall and wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future.
