Total Vision PC - Solana Beach

I ordered my custom frames through Mandy at this location after I waited in line while the customer before me complained of waiting 3 months for her glasses (and they were wrong when they came)! Then it was my turn, that customer's experience made me think twice as I reluctantly handed over my frames for my lens order. I should've listened to my gut because 5 weeks later I have been promised my glasses three times only to have them no-show. There is a new manager named Lee. Does he care? Nope- just arguing me about semantics and plays games with no solutions. They continue to blame "the lab"... I will never go here, anyone that goes here is bound to go through this customer service nightmare. Don't do it. **Update** Still no glasses but Lee does care about me as a consumer which is appreciated. He is refunding me my money. Unfortunately they don't know when my glasses will be ready, I hope they will eventually be ready as opposed to lost.

I usually like the service here. However last time I went for a repair of my glasses, that I just bought last June, the person for reception not only was condescending when trying to explain what the problem was but she did a horrible repair. She did force a screw in (without adjusting the hinge) and in the process scratch the temple. I sent an email to Total vision and I haven't gotten any answer. I don't think this is acceptable.

Frame selection has unmatched universal appeal; the entire staff feels like family --and this, on my first visit. They even swapped lenses on an older frame that I bought elsewhere.

I went in here wanting a routine vision check up. It was covered by my insurance. They performed additional tests that weren’t covered by insurance. Without asking me. Then they revealed it in the end as I was checking out. They should have asked for consent. It felt dishonest.

Right off the bat, Rochelle is an amazing member of the team and total vision is lucky to have her. From start to finish she made us feel welcomed, kept a friendly demeanor and went out of her way to ensure we were getting the most out of our insurance benefits. Even during a busy end of year period she made us feel completely at home and provided the highest level of support. Glad to have visited and thank you to Rochelle.
