Tower Clock Eye Center was excellent! I had my first cataract surgery July 30th. It went better than I expected. Absolutely no pain and hardly no recovery time! I noticed a huge difference in my vision already! I was very impressed with the receptionist, nurses and of course my doctor. They were all polite, friendly, caring and very knowledgeable! I'll have the cataract removed from my left eye on Aug. 6th. I can't wait to see the results after this surgery!

I was referred by my optometrist to Tower Clock. An appointment for testing was set up quickly.During the testing process for lens replacement and stent surgery, I felt everyone one wanted to support me in making the best decision possible for improved eyesight. I have a lazy eye which makes the surgery more complex. Dr. S was very thorough and helpful. His perspectives and experience were very helpful to me in the decision making process. I look forward to a positive outcome on August 11.
I had cataract surgery performed on 12/8 & 12/15, both being totally successful. I can’t believe the clarity now! Dr. Thompson is a wonderful, caring surgeon from our exam/meeting two weeks prior to surgery, to his brief talk before the procedure, making sure I was comfortable and if I had any concerns or questions. Not only was the Dr.wonderful, but the whole staff is caring & personable. I had two different support staffs and each one is fabulous. Thanks to everyone at Tower Clock Eye Center for your care and support during my surgeries.
I have been a patient of Tower Clock Eye Center for 10 years, except during COVID. I drive an hour and a half for my appointments. I was diagnosed with glaucoma at age 52, I am now, almost 68. I have been very happy with all the staff I have encountered. Their professionalism as well as their concerns for my eye sight has been exceptional and I especially am greatful to Dr. Kurt Schwiesow. His concern and warmth towards patients' sight seems genuine. Although I missed appointments during COVID, he did not berate me or show any ill feelings with my lack of responsibility, instead he moved forward with correcting my issues in such a positive manner, I do not think I would switch doctors. I also appreciate the fact that he is younger than I am, so he won't retire anytime soon, I hope! Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all at Tower Clock Eye Center!
I had a 10:30 appt & arrived at 10:15. The line to register moved slow. I finally got called, gave my info & sat in waiting room. When it was 11:30 I had watched every person in the room get called & I was still sitting there. I went to desk to inquire. She said “sorry, we lost your chart”. A few minutes more waiting and I was finally called to a testing area. The provider seemed knowledgeable & did almost all of my exam, not the Dr. I watched the video & realized I most likely was not going to be pleased with my options and I was correct. Not knowing what to expect I should have realized I was not going to be a good candidate for the deluxe procedure with my eye issues. I thought the price to correct my astigmatism was very high, more than I expected. To spend that much was disappointing knowing I would still need glasses and contacts just like I do now. I said I needed to think about it. A few days later I canceled the surgery and most likely will wait until the blurry vision affects my eyes greatly. I will always need to wear prisms, contacts & glasses. This surgery will not help my double vision, my cross eye, my near vision, or my distance vision. Due to being left in waiting room, the appt took till after 2:30 and the setting up surgery was also time consuming. I was glad to be finished.
