I’m very disappointed overall with my experiences with this group. I’ve been a patient for a year now and this is it. I have a long drive and if I show up ten minutes late, they cancel my appointment. But they keep me waiting each time for about a half hour past my appointment time before I’m called back. Yesterday was my second annual exam and I unfortunately was charged a substantial amount of money upon exiting following my yearly visit. When I questioned why I was being charged for my regular annual exam, they didn’t have a reason other than to say I inquired about contacts to the doctor. They said that was the reason I am charged for my exam as in I briefly discussed the possibility of contacts with the doctor! I was not fitted for contacts during my exam and that would be a separate appointment yet to be scheduled. I contacted my insurance company after I arrived home yesterday and was informed that the charge for my annual appointment is fully covered by insurance. I tried to reach the vision group today to dispute the charge but there is no direct line to reach them. I left voice message and I sent a text regarding the charge and don’t expect to hear back. I’m very concerned and plan to find another provider going forward! When a medical provider is inconsistent with their patients’ needs and unreachable directly by phone, I become very uncomfortable. They were dismissive and abrasive about charging me yesterday when I expressed my concerns that I was being unfairly charged. I was told before going back for exam that my insurance covers my exam. When I came out, they charge me without a sensible logical explanation. When I informed the person I didn’t think the charge was correct, she grew frustrated and flustered and admitted she was confused about the charge too. OMG! She said she was calling billing and she said she was going to speak with the doctor. She came back quickly and still charged me. I didn’t notice her calling anyone because I was standing there. They failed to inform me that my insurance doesn’t cover contacts or glasses this year because it’s every other year meaning no contacts without paying out of pocket. Obviously, they are unreliable with billing and money grabbing with charges that should be covered by insurance and yet they pushed these charges onto the patient. I’m deeply disappointed overall with them and will request my medical records. I plan to move on to a more professional and qualified provider for my vision care. Good luck with getting a straight answer from them about anything including medical related questions. Good luck getting in touch with them about anything period unless you show up in person.

I went in as a new patient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was taken back and seen quickly. The doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this office if you are looking for an eye doctor.
Waited 2.5 months for my appointment, double checked with the office during appointment booking and also during confirmation that my insurance was accepted. I showed up early in the day as well to make sure it was as set, and I was told I would be called PRIOR to my appointment if it wasn’t verified/ taken by office. I essentially showed up 3 hours early to verify insurance and grab paperwork. No one communicated further once I left the office. I returned at my proper appointment time just to be told they do not take my insurance. (my insurance website verified the coverage as well) I confirmed 3 times it was okay just to be told no! I would have been okay with self-payment, however the poor communication turned me elsewhere. If you like communication I would call another office!
Went in for first visit with double vision. Waited 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time. Dr Tre’s spent 3 minutes with me. Told me I needed cataract surgery, never ask or discuss the double vision and walked out. I don’t need cataract surgery. This was the worse place I’ve ever been. Lobby full and just a money grabbing facility. I won’t trust them with a stray dog.
Dr. McManus is a very knowledgeable and kind doctor. He did my mom’s cataract surgery and it was a total success. He is also my ophthalmologist and I highly recommend his services. His staff is also very kind.
