Doc was nice. Staff leaves something to be desired. Like I was an interruption to their makeup time. The older lady sizing frames is the most rude and has NO customer service skills. Guess my insurance was top of the line and shows me a cheap plastic box with 4 sets of glasses, all look like for men. I asked her if that was it she said yes and pick. I said they look like men's glasses. She said go pick out whatever but I'd have to pay. Never offered to help or explain anything to me. NEVER going back to that location. Customer service sucks and I fear my safety.

They do take humana advantage gold. probably the only place that does but I may have had one of the worst experiences with eye exams in my 30 something years. I felt like i was getting glasses in prison or something. Rude staff. I was forced to take the diabetes test because they say Humana enforces it. So much for free choice. Never was forced to take the diabetes test before with other insurance. Must be something new. I am still having trouble seeing since the test. Thank God it was free. The Doc was nice and professional. I have no complaints with him. Then i was lead to the area to pick my glasses. I saw all kinds of selection of glasses on the wall. My insurance did not qualify for those. The technician took about 20 frames for me to choose from under a desk. The glasses were cheap. They looked to cost no more then 30 dollars or so but they charged $100.00. I told them i would rather go to eyemart but eyemart does not accept humana gold. As a matter of fact, most major well known eye places do not accept Humama Gold so I was stuck with them. I picked which glasses i wanted and paid extra for a half tint. I waited for the glasses a few days ( at this point i was missing eyemart express where i could have got them in an hour and if it was wrong i could have had them corrected right there) anyway, when I got them the glasses I got was not what I ordered. I ordered half lens tint. when i got them they where full lens tints. Never will be going there again. They have a Westside attitude and noticeably selective to who they are professional nice to or ghetto nice to. Update: the arm broke off the lenses of glasses in April. I'm so glad I no longer take Humana. I'm on amerigroup now so I can go are there places.

My parents (80+ yrs old) went there because of insurance. They spent nearly $800 on two pairs of glasses. When they went to pick them up the lady was so rude. I couldn't believe how she was speaking to us. My parents are old school and won't complain, they also would not be ok with me making a scene. The lady actually made a comment about my dad asking for a hard case instead of the soft pouch (seriously Dollar tree quality). When she got the balance from them she grabbed the receipts and stapled another receipt onto it and said, "Yo lo ago así paque no digan que no garrón el recibo, pa eso si valen" (not sure about this spelling but you get it) . I was livid!!! Do not go there!!!! Sorry so long but I wish I had looked up this place before my parents went.

This was a good place to go for my annual eye exam. Unfortunately, when I went there on Sept 22, 2022, to see why I hadn't received my annual eye exam reminder. the place was closed and empty. They moved and didn't bother to tell their patients. No idea if they are in a new location or closed for good.
