I'm not sure what the negative reviewers are talking about. This place was great! First of all, the office is NOT inside the Walmart, it is around the side of the building. It would be helpful of Walmart to put up proper signage that says this. This is NOT this office's fault, but WalMart's. The inside of Walmart is actually the glasses shop. This place is an independent optometrist office. The receptionist was really nice, she took my measurements and eye pictures. The doctor was great. Very knowledgeable and kind, answered all of my questions. I 10/10 would come back. Thank you.

I RARELY leave reviews for places, but I’m so annoyed by this point that I feel obligated to. For starters, it took me about 3 days of calling twice a day (while they were open) to get in touch with anyone. Once I did, I set an appointment and everything was good. Receptionist and doctor are nice and friendly, but have terrible work ethic. The reason I say this is after my appointment, I was told I could come pick up my contacts any time during their hours of operation. I’ve been FOUR separate times now, all with more than an hour left before they closed, and no one was to be found. Im now forced to wear extremely outdated glasses until who knows when since I work a full-time job and have no idea if anyone will be there the next time I go... Either change your hours to when your actually there or realize that you leaving early is a massive inconvenience to all of your customers. I will definitely never come back here after I get my contacts I bought 3 weeks ago.

I’ve tried to walk in three weeks in a row with over an hour left until they close. I have an unpredictable work schedule, and generally can’t schedule ahead of time, but their hours said they’re open into the evening certain days and they encourage walk-ins. Each time there wasn’t even a doctor in the building. The first time I was told the doctor had a family emergency, the other times they simply told me the doctor had just left hours before. If they stop saying they’re open til 7pm when the doctor wanders home at 4pm, I’d retract the one-star review—frankly I don’t know if the service is poor, because I can’t get the service during their hours of operation. Terribly unprofessional work ethic. I feel bad for the receptionist trying to cover for it.

The absolute worst! The receptionist is nasty rude and unpleasant to evem speak with. Cold and uncaring. My son was seen by 2 different do tos with 2 different recommendations then the optometry department at wal mart right next door shook their head at the prescription badmouthed the doctors over prescribing for childrenand suggested I change the prescription to their recommendation! Unbelieveable. When i called to schedule a follow upper drs requeat receptionist refused to book stating my insurance wouldnt allow follow ups for a child in a new prescription and when I asked the do tor to return mycall so I could get the names of the eye drops suggeated for dry itchy eyes for my childnyhe horrible nasty receptionist was super snotty aaying we we werent patients because ourbinsurance didnt allownfor follow up anf the doctor never called me back. STAY FAR FAR AWAY! I never writr reviews but this is for parents with children that deserve to be treated with dignity and this place shoupd be shut down and under all new management and employees. -50 stars! Go to Adventure Vision amd Demtal. They will get you right in and treat you like a humam being that they actually care about. This place gives my home Roeland Park a stain of disgust.
