True Eye Experts

For 10+ years I had been traveling to my eye dr in Brandon from Lutz. I am a loyalist and genuinely loved her but the drive and lack of Saturday options was hard so I researched Lutz options and landed with True Eye Experts of Lutz, and have been nothing but impressed! Everyone is kind and helpful; appointments have been quick but not rushed and I have moved into a new type of contact (multifocal) seamlessly. And they are open on Saturdays! Thankful I found them!

I had a wonderful experience with True Eye Experts and Dr. Johnson. I was in an extreme amount of pain I called them up and they were able to immediately get me in and give me some relief. Dr. Johnson was very heartfelt and said he knows the weekend is coming up and if I’m still in pain that they are here for me on the weekend to give a call. I really appreciated all their help. I have been in an 8/10 pain in my eye with no relief and he was able to put a few drops in and give me some relief. I will be going to this eye doctor for now on. Thank you everyone for squeezing me in and relieving me of my pain and for such great bedside manner. Dr. Johnson is truly the best.

True Eye Experts of Lutz was great. Dr. Johnson took time with me and was very though and explained everything. The tech people were very fun and friendly showing me all my options and pricing. This was a wonderful experience. Thank you

I've been coming to this place for years and as long as Amelia has been there, every time she has answered my calls or worked with me at the front desk (and I do mean every time!) she has been a huge pleasure, and always so efficient and helpful. Just another reason for me to keep coming back!!!

I tried True Eye after years of Eyeglass World. I switched because I heard that True Eye had the glasses with the magnetic sunglass attached (this info came from the sunglass company's website, not from True Eye). The True Eye exam was great and I liked the doctor. But the negatives for me were: the glasses selection is very small, I didn't like the optician hovering over me and suggesting frames for me and they got my prescription wrong. I've had headaches for 5 months. I opted to just get Lasik last week and the Eye surgeon told me my Rx is off by 0.5 and the astigmatism is off. Which is why I'd been having headaches. If you do use True Eye, be prepared to get rechecked and maybe purchase glasses online where the selection is much larger.
