I had a great experience with Rosalina as my optician. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me find the right lenses for my needs, and made sure my frames fit perfectly and comfortably. What really stood out was her attention to detail and genuine care for her patients. She didn’t rush anything and made sure I was completely satisfied before I left. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Rosalina to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable optician.

Exceptional service starts with people like Rosalina. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in, listened carefully to what we needed, and helped us choose glasses with genuine care. It’s rare to come across someone who is both so knowledgeable and so kind. Thank you for making the experience such a positive one!
I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with an eye doctor’s office. My appointment was scheduled for January 16th at 12:15 PM. While I was in the Uber pulling up (literally about two minutes away), I received a voicemail reminding me about their 15-minute grace period and that my appointment could be given away if I didn’t arrive in time. I arrived around 12:19–12:20 PM, well within the 15-minute grace period, but when I checked in they told me that since I was “late,” it would be a wait. That already didn’t make much sense given their stated policy. My boyfriend and I then waited about 45 minutes before anyone did anything. Around the 30–40 minute mark, we asked what was going on and were told that because I was late, the doctor had seen another patient first. Again, this didn’t make sense because I arrived within their grace period. Eventually, a staff member brought me back to do a couple of basic tests (the air puff test and reading letters from a screen). After that, I was told to wait for the doctor. We then waited another 25–30 minutes with no communication. During that time, I even saw the doctor walk past us without acknowledging us or giving any update about the delay. When I finally saw the doctor, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the long wait, and the appointment proceeded as if everything had been normal. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. I paid $60 for a contact lens exam and specifically requested that my contacts be shipped to my home, since I don’t have easy transportation. I even wrote my address down and confirmed it before leaving. After a week and a half, I had received no tracking number and no shipment. When I called, I found out the contacts had never even been shipped. I then had to go back to try a different trial pair because the first ones were too dry. After confirming that I liked the new pair, I called to have them ordered and shipped again. Over the next couple of weeks, I called multiple times and spoke to three different employees, each giving a different explanation — including that they were on back order or that they would be shipped soon. At one point, someone even told me I might need to pay $15 for shipping, which I explained I shouldn’t have to pay since the repeated delays and failure to ship were on their end. They agreed to waive it. Then, after being told again that my contacts would be shipped, I received a call asking when I would come pick them up, even though we had already discussed shipping multiple times. After all of that, I finally received the contacts weeks later, but the box wasn’t labeled for left vs. right eye, which is something that is normally clearly marked. Because they’re closed on Sundays, I now have to call them again just to figure out which lens goes in which eye. Overall, this experience involved long wait times, poor communication, repeated shipping issues, and multiple mistakes. Something that should have been a simple appointment and order turned into weeks of phone calls and frustration. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
My son and I had a very positive experience at Texas State Optical Richmond Aliana. The staff was very friendly and professional, the eye exam was thorough, and the doctor explained everything clearly. The office was clean, well organized, and the whole process was smooth and efficient. I would definitely recommend TSO for great eye care! And a special shout out to Rosalina for all her great help while we were there.
We had such a wonderful experience with Rosalina! She's incredibly sweet and so knowledgeable. She really took the time to address all our concerns, and we left feeling completely reassured.
