Dr Mitchell and his team of residents, students and medical assistants are the most amazing staff I’ve seen in any hospital setting ever. Dr Mitchell is amazing in his own right he has given me excellent advice and treatment. I have had a lot of issues thru my journey after retina detachment surgery and he has taken great care of me as well as addressing future issues. I drive from Ft Worth TX to Lubbock for my after care cause I trust no other Doctor with my care. Doctor Mitchell is definitely one of a kind and I will return to him with future issues of my eyes.

Dr. Reppa , is a very good surgeon, she made me feel at ease before the proceedure. Each time I have seen her she has been very helpful and will explain anything.that you think to ask.

It’s a complete nightmare for someone to get back to you. After trying several months… since end of May 2025, finally got my 15 year old an appointment on Friday September 26, 2025. Dr. Abikoye was nice. She’s referring my child to another Ophthalmologist due to the procedure that needs to be performed. (Same location). Front desk receptionist stated she needed more information and couldn’t make the follow up appointment with the other Doctor taking over, for what ever reason. She said someone would contact me within 1-2 days. I explained to her that I’ve been taking to different front desk lady’s since early June and they would always tell me the same story … they would call back! Talk to supervisor…etc. ( yes I wrote names down after 3rd time). Of course… that didn’t happen. No call back. 1 week later and my child is still waiting to get this procedure done. Nothing scheduled! If this office is not capable of performing this procedure, why can’t they just say so… I’m not sure who’s dropping the ball on us. It’s very frustrating.

I've been with dr mitchell over thirty years. Mitchell and his students are the best. I look forward to seeing them every appointment. He has helped me save my eyesight for over 30 years now. I am honored to have him as my eye doctor. Thank you dr mitchell in your wonderful staff, may you have a blessed new year.

I want to say God brought me to Dr. Mitchell. He is a blessing. His team also are blessing. Both parties are very nice and very loving care.
