Such a pretty building! And my kiddo loved the "obstacle course" outside. We traveled here to see a specialist because Reno didn't have much availability. I did get the impression that you can't usually see the specialists here unless you've got a PCP here. Though that's fine with me, I'm willing to travel for a good PCP too. Especially with everything they offer here! I didn't realize just how much they've got under one roof. I was able to see the specialist and then go downstairs for X-rays and labs. MRI and CT take longer to schedule and aren't same day though. The specialist area looked really similar to an ER. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Dr. Ahmad was on time and spent nearly an hour talking with me. She was sympathetic but also not giving false hope.

Beautifully made building. Inside is so elegant and open spaces, with great lighting, great seating, fabulous doctors chair and office. Each water fountain had water bottle refill stations. Simply beautiful but maintaining the UC Davis charm that the Sacramento hospital has.

Expect quick service here for lab work when you’ve made an appointment online via My Chart. Push button screen with options dispensers numbered ticket, short wait until your number is called. Pull door handle to enter lab where a smiling face greets you. Smooth operation in a beautiful new facility.

While UC Davis offers beautiful, modern facilities and mostly kind nursing staff, the overall patient experience has fallen short of expectations. Providers frequently come across as rushed and disengaged, leaving little room for patients to ask questions or feel heard. Scheduling is a persistent frustration, with wait times for appointments stretching 3 to 6 months — which is a serious problem for anyone with ongoing health needs. The physical infrastructure is impressive, but the human side of care needs meaningful improvement.

Excellent efficient service and super fast. Gabby in Radiology went above and beyond to help my Son and made him feel more comfortable on a very stressful day. I've come here for blood work and X-rays and MRIs and everything has gone smoothly and I never had to wait.
