Ultimate Spectacle

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this eyeglass store. I visited the store to look at reading glasses and ultimately agreed to leave money to hold a pair of frames while I considered my decision. At the time, I specifically instructed the associate not to proceed with manufacturing the lenses because I wanted my wife to see the frames before making a final purchase decision. I made it clear that I had not yet decided whether I would move forward. A few days later, after deciding not to proceed, I returned to the store and informed them of my decision. To my surprise, I was told that the glasses had already been completed. This was shocking because I had expressly requested that no work be performed until I gave final approval. The most frustrating part of this experience was the complete disregard for my instructions. Had I authorized production, I would understand being responsible for the order. However, I specifically asked them to wait, and they moved forward anyway. As a customer, I expect a business to honor clear instructions and obtain final authorization before performing custom work. What should have been a straightforward and professional transaction turned into a frustrating dispute that could have been avoided with basic communication and respect for the customer’s wishes.

Ryan was very helpful and professional, he has an amazing personality! He was extremely knowledgeable with the different luxury items in the store. Ryan’s friendly attitude made me want to keep purchasing multiple pairs. I’m going recommend all my friends and family to come see Ryan, he gave me a 10/10 experience!

I have to say I'm truly impressed from the moment I walk through the door to the moment I walked out the door because of how the gentleman named Ryan provided exceptional customer service at ULTIMATE SPECTACLE in GARDEN CITY INSIDE THE ROOSEVELT FIELD MALL and truly went above and beyond to help me. I was experiencing significant issues obtaining my glasses due to insurance complications and had previously been charged incorrectly by another provider despite having valid coverage. I had to pay out of pocket Feeling frustrated and uncertain about my options, I visited the store shortly before closing. Despite the late I showed up, Ryan took the time to listen to my situation and help me explore various payment options leave with no hesitations and genuinely wanted to help me. I already had frames and just received a updated prescription, but after paying out of pocket for an eye exam elsewhere, I was being quoted over $300 just to have my lenses cut and put into the frames that I already brought with me, I QUICKLY WALKED RIGHT OUT OF THAT LOCATION and found ultimate spectacle. Ryan carefully reviewed my situation and worked diligently to find the best solution that would accommodate my needs. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming, but he also provided valuable guidance and advice regarding vision insurance coverage with my plan and ways to maximize my vision benefits. His patience, expertise, and genuine desire to help made a stressful situation SO much easier to navigate. Because of Ryan's outstanding service, I will continue to use this location for my eyewear needs and would highly recommend it to others. It is rare to encounter someone who genuinely cares about helping customers achieve the best possible outcome at the level he did. I am extremely grateful for his assistance and impressed by the level of service he provided. To make the experience even better, my glasses are ready the very next day. I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but this was absolutely necessary for me to relay my experience and opinion at ultimate spectacle in garden City. We had an absolutely outstanding experience this afternoon. The sales associate, Tatiana, who assisted us was affable, patient, and incredibly accommodating. Even though we ended up selecting our frames after the store had officially closed, she never made us feel rushed or unwelcome. Her intentional approach to customer service truly stood out, making the entire experience feel personal and top tier. In addition, the optometrist, Dr. Wallach, was just as friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. From start to finish, it was a genuinely great shopping experience, and we left feeling well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience here while purchasing glasses. Ryan was so helpful and professional. He was very patient while I was deciding on a pair of glasses. Ryan explained all the different lens feautures to me so I was able to undersatnd what I exactly needef. I am a very happy customer and excited to come purchase more glasses with him!
