My review goes for the Perelman Center and all of Upenn. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years, including at other higher level hospitals, and none come close to the caliber of Upenn. The doctors I have seen not only are medically advanced, they listen to patients and care. Care is performed with the medical directness needed especially in complex cases, but it is always paired with a humanistic manner and that is something I truly think Upenn deserves an award on. Also important to note, is that other aspects of Upenn have been phenomenal too. This is the only hospital/organization that has always billed the correct insurance. When you call, someone answers or calls you back. Things are scheduled timely, and I've arrived early for two appointments and been seen an hour early. They call/text with cancellations. I would recommened Upenn to anyone who felt they needed to go, and would say travelling for these appointments is highly worth it.

Velet parking is organized, the flow of traffic in and out of buildings is hassle free. The $5 patient parking with shuttle is awesome and makes for a smooth visit too. I've had nothing but good experiences with doctors at Penn.
Best doctors I've ever had. They did a great job helping me thru my cancer treatment. Lots of traffic in the area and for the occasional garage closures sending you to a different garage give yourself some extra time. Id give myself 20-30 min to find parking to avoid being late.
I only have one procedure done here. All of the staff and service people were very helpful and respectful. The individuals in the clinic I went to were super chill. It is obvious that they are big on respecting people's privacy. In addition, they take serious the issue of the checking to make sure that you are the proper person receiving services. I have spent few months going back and forth to the Perelman center. All of my expresses happen positive. If you do not show up on time expect to receive a call. The hospital is fully accessible and offers underground parking for people needing it. If you are having any type surgery they will request that you park underneath the building. Getting into the parking lot is not a big deal, however, if you have a low fan like mine make sure that you take it easy on your way out it usually scrapes against the concrete.
Horrible to be dealing with cancer and having to be harassed be security guards discrimination, I was harassed with discrimination from the security about 435 pm today when I came to pick medicine. I was not carrying a bag or any metal objects. I did not beep. Someone stop me after I walk pass the security desk and ask where am I going that I need a visitors pass first before I can enter. Then she told me I had to id myself before coming Into the Peralmann center? I asked, "when did this start because I was here earlier getting treatment and I didn't have to show my id." I told them I was here to pick up medicine but I wasn't showing my id. The female officer then proceeded to antagonize and harass me about removing me from the building because I didn't show my id. As I walked up the escalators, her and another employee harassed me all the way to the pharmacy about how they would put me out if they wanted. While standing at the back of the line I'm being told to hurry up and get my medicine, before they put me out. I don't get it! They were really antagonizing me to get a reaction. Then on the second floor, three people walked through the metal detector and no one asked them for ID or where they were going. No one said to them that they need a visitor pass or even an id to enter the building. The same lady then said, "I'm not worried about them." That's what made me believe I was being discriminated against. Then when I ask for name so I could report to a supervisor, I was I told, "You don't need to know my name, I'm the supervisor." THE AUTHORITARIANISM THAT WAS ON DISPLAY WAS SO UNNECESSARY FOR SOMEONE THAT WAS JUST TRYING TO GET THEIR MEDICINE. My name is Karon Stone, as a cancer patient receiving ongoing treatment this is extremely frightening, to hear that security officer tell me there going to me out the building from receiving my cancer medicine. When I have done nothing wrong to warrant such tyrant behavior from apparently the supervisor....
