All hospital staff is very welcoming, cordial, respectful, and helpful... from arrival to exit, including surgeons, specialists, doctors, nurses, assistants, janitors, pharmacists, receptionist, contractors, and security all throughout the facility. There is construction... and yes it can be slightly inconvenient but otherwise easy to navigate as every parking lot entrance to the hospital is clearly labeled to guide drivers. Parking is crowded but otherwise minimally invasive and pretty fair priced. Even the farthest parking spots are not far for most people and there is plenty of designated handicap parking spots. Visitor/ patient entrance and exit to the building is in the far, right corner of the visitor/ patient parking lot, clearly labeled and visible with wheel chair access along most of the sidewalk to the entrance. A single security checkpoint station located at the front is swift and professional followed by a just as quick team of receptionists to check you in and direct you to your destination with precision. Scheduled appointments were prompt, swift, and thorough. The staff exhibited strong medical knowledge and/ or experience, and not one person minded my endless questions... SORRY!! Feelings of mental clarity and peace of mind set me at ease, knowing the extent of my injuries, whats involved now, what comes later, and how to stay positive throughout the process. Left here calm, relaxed, and sure that I received the best possible medical treatment from those individuals responsible for my care. Thanks.

My father has been treated like if he were family. The staff and the doctor are absolutely great! We highly recommend LBJ.
I had a very positive experience overall. Everyone was respectful and professional, and I felt comfortable during my visit. The student took the time to listen and explain things clearly, which made me feel heard and cared for. I truly appreciate the attention and kindness I received. I even talked with my parents about how well I was treated at the hospital, I was pleasantly surprised that all the staff were so kind, including those working near the elevators and at the front desk. Keep it like that, the world needs to change, and it starts with us.
Our concern is Time of wait due to expensive parking fee. And the pharmacy. You felt like really, we're waiting by the number. Its timely ok if the staff is efficient with patient care.? Overall, the time of procedure went well!! Thanks Dr Parastou Pakravan and his team are experts!!
Besides waiting 4 months for my appointment just for it to be cancelled on Jan 26th over it being brisk outside, I was happy that my appointment was rescheduled a few weeks later. The provider I was seen by, Michelle Hunyh, was really helpful and knew what she was talking about. My past experiences with urology in the Harris Health system made me feel like a piece of meat that had no value. Michelle really did a great job and was the opposite of what I am used to from Harris Health. She did her research on my file so it didn't feel like I had to repeat all of my issues to her. She also knew exactly what procedures I would need to resolve my issues- I knew too as I did my research and had previous ER visits, but nothing needed to be explained to her. She took the time to answer questions and I felt like she cared. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush away to the next patient. She treated me like an individual, not a statistic with a name... or a piece of meat. She helped me alot with a cream for swelling. That was new because in the past no visit I had whether it was ER or specialist had helped me in this way for my issue. I was able to get a date for a prodedure I need and this was one of the most positive visits I had ever had in the Harris Health system since 2011. Keep up the good work Michelle. Kudos!
