Everyone at Valley Eye Appleton was nice & helpful. Got there 90 minutes early and was just going to wait but Dr. Kurth and her staff was nice enough to see me earlier then at my appointment time. It was my first time at Valley Eye Appleton since moving to Wisconsin. Happy that my niece suggested Dr Natalie for me.
On June 10, 2026 I had cataract surgery by Michael Vrabec. I am 77 years old and now 3 days later I can say this surgery is Life Changing. The clarity, the colors I now see are Life Changing. Dealing with Dr Vrabec and his staff was like dealing with family. All staff was kind and caring , and EVERYONE had a Great Sense of Urgency and Resolve. As this procedure involved my eyesight, obviously I had anxiety, when finished, in 8 minutes, after resting a short time, my wife helped me walk to our car. When I walked out the door, I stopped and became emotional as my sight was amazing, “life changing” ! The entire process was quick & painless, and again, surgery took 8 minutes 🤗👍. Dr. Vrabec communicates extremely well and is an Outstanding Surgeon.
One day out. I can see!! Not a single bad thing to say about the whole process. From start to finish every single person on my team was knowledgeable and fast at getting me my answers. Would definitely recommend!!!! I had glasses 30 years. It’s the greatest gift you can give yourself.
I first went to Valley Eye Associates about five years ago for LASIK on my left eye so I could continue flying, and I was very pleased with the results. In 2026, I returned to have my right eye corrected, and once again, the experience was excellent. From the moment you walk in, the receptionists are welcoming and friendly, it feels like a true Midwest atmosphere. Dr. Rodriguez took the time to understand my needs and has been great through multiple follow-up visits, making sure everything is progressing well. Dr. Vrabec, who performed both procedures, does an outstanding job explaining what to expect and really listens to any concerns. As a pilot himself, he understands how important clear vision is for aviation, which gave me even more confidence in the process. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience and results.
I had a cataract consultation and my first surgery with Valley eye one week ago. I have my next surgery next week. Everyone at Valley Eye took time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. My first surgery went smoothly with no complications. My vision is already amazing in my surgical eye, and I didn't realize just how much I was missing with my poor vision. I am looking forward to my next surgery to make my vision feel complete.
