We recently moved to the area and Valley Health Wayne is our local doctor. They offer a lot of services that I need so it's super convenient very close to my new house. The receptionist was very friendly and took her time to make me feel like I was in a place that cared about my needs, the nurse took her time soaking with me while getting my vitals and working up my chart she even went a stay further and looked up several medications that were in my history to explain what they were and what they were for, the doctor or nurse practitioner (who knows what they are now days) seemed to genuinely care about my health when speaking with me BUT I've been waiting almost 2 weeks with not a word about several referrals to a lung and heart doctor because I HAVE to have them, I called a week ago and they sent a message it whatever they do to her through her nurse because I NEED a medication filled that I can not go without and she still hasn't responded to the message. On top of that, it was my intake appointment and I was not given a follow up appointment by her nurse or the front desk because she failed to tell them otherwise but my prescriptions have a 90 day supply. She wrote me a prescription for Chantix (Praise God because I asked about it) but didn't give me any instructions on how to take it and according to Google Gemini what she prescribed was stage 2 completely skipped step 1 and I got very sick, projectile vomiting and couldn't keep my eyes open for two solid days because you have to slowly introduce that medication into your system not take 2 pills that's full strength, on the first day. She didn't do a new patient physical, no blood work, nothing that should be done when you're a new patient with lung and heart diseases. So, I'm going to make the drive to Huntington, which is 30 minutes away at most, in order to get a doctor that actually cares for my health not just giving me what my last PCP was giving me.

Valley Health's Wayne location has been great during transition into establishing with a primary care provider! Valley Health offers online scheduling for appropriate appointments which is convenient and helpful. I was scheduled within the week. I met Amber today. She helped me feel secure in knowing my concerns were heard and addressed. I feel grateful to know I'm on the road to accessing better health care locally. Thank you Amber and Valley Health Wayne Team!
While I do like my Dr. They never answer the phone. I let it ring 15mins , then decided to drive there. My phone was still ringing when I walked into the facility. This has happened 3 times. I just tried to call again to see if they have test results and dates for important tests I need. Im not feeling up to driving there AGAIN. I have several issues that need addressed, this is patient neglect. PLEASE STAFF YOUR HEALTH CARE FACILITY PROPER. 1 more time, im finding another place to go so I can get my biopsy..etc and believe me the firstbthing I'll ask them will be..DO YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONES INSTEAD OF NEGLECTING PATIENTS
Nurse practitioner Alexandria Collin’s is amazing ! I wish I would have found her years ago she listens to her patience’s concerns and will do whatever necessary to help you find answers to medical Issues . The nurse and receptionist are also awesome and so kind and compassionate !
My family & I are always treated well when visiting Valley Health Wayne. I love that they have the after hours clinic. It’s really convenient to be able to go once school has let out for the day so my kids don’t miss any classes to go to the doc. I also love that they now have a nurse from Valley Health Wayne at Wayne High School. My son can just walk down the hallway & be seen by the nurse at anytime during the school day. We’re super happy with the service we receive from Valley Health Wayne. Thanks to all who work there.
