Good spirited people. Gave us space to look at glasses. Didn’t act like sales people or hover over us.
I have been buying my lenses with you for years because you have a large selection of frames to choose from and not to mention the prices, this time you had promotions to buy one and the second completely free, I love this promotion since I also need the sunglasses by prescription from the ophthalmologist. So I was completely happy for my purchase, I really recommend VISION WORKS
I scheduled my eye exam through Visionworks, and they referred me to this optometrist. I’m leaving this review on Visionworks’ page because when you call their number, you get transferred directly to this office for the exam. When I arrived, the front receptionist was amazing. She was kind, sweet, and very attentive, especially knowing I had my grandbaby with me. She knew I was going back and forth between inside and outside with the baby, and she still made sure I was checked in and in the right place in line. There was one person in front of me and one person behind me. The receptionist was fully aware that I was next and even told the doctor that I was next in line. As I was walking back into the building when it was my turn, the doctor ignored that and called the person behind me instead and took him to the back. I watched the doctor look at me, look at the paper, and then walk away with the other patient anyway. I had scheduled this exam for a specific time because I already knew about how long it should take, and I had another appointment later. By taking the person behind me, the doctor put me behind and completely threw off my schedule. The most frustrating part is that this had nothing to do with my baby being disruptive. My grandbaby was sitting still, laughing, and watching videos on her phone. She wasn’t fussing or causing any problems. The issue was the doctor’s attitude. Even after the receptionist clearly told him I was next, he didn’t care and chose to see someone else first. This showed me that the doctor’s customer service is very poor. It feels like because he’s billing insurance either way, he doesn’t care about treating people with basic respect or considering their time and situation. I would not recommend this place to any single mother, single father, or grandparent who has to bring a child with them to an appointment. If you don’t have someone to watch your baby, this is not a supportive or understanding environment. The receptionist did everything right, but the doctor’s behavior was unprofessional and very disappointing.
They told me they can’t provide me with my prescription that I got from the dr office that shut down next door and they refused to give me my prescription numbers because it’s “against their policy.” I called a different visionworks and within 5 minutes was provided the full information. This location clearly either doesn’t understand the law or deliberately withholds patient records. I spent days trying to get basic information that another Visionworks gave me in minutes. Absolutely don’t waste your time here. They’ll probably get shut down soon the way they conduct business
