I decided on Village Eye Clinic because Centennial Eye Care in Circle Pines closed. Dr. Anthony Zabel was the best! My glasses presciption was wrong at Village... Gave me headaches. I had the prescripton of the lenses tested by Walmart optical, who said it was wrong. Went back to Village and they needed to be "sent back to the lab". I picked them up after they said they were "fixed", and same thing... Headaches. Went back to Walmart Optical, and the lenses were off again. Went back to Village... Kevin said "Yeah, I don't trust Walmart's equipment". After they were wrong once already. Had them tested at Village again, and they said the prescription was right on , except one little thing that would for sure not give me headaches. Why are they wrong at all? I paid for a warranty as well. Watch out for Lauren and Kevin in Optical. Lauren asked me if I was an "Engineer"... Not knowing I would know she was asking if I was "on the Spectrum" If you have special needs, don't go to Village. Alot of judgement. Still dealing with this issue.

Zero start if it allows! I confirmed my appointment by phone and by email in advance. But the clinic canceled my appointment without any notification. when I was at the clinic 10 mins before the appointment time, I was told my appointment was cancelled and no room for me today. The front desk can not give any decent reason why my appointment was cancelled w/o notification to me. Until now, I still did not receive any cancellation information to my appointment. I highly recommend do not go to this Village eye clinic. the village eye clinic does not care about you/patient at all! and does not respect your time at all! My family and I will never go to this clinic. It ruins the reputation of business in Blaine city.

I chose Village Eyecare based on its reputation, but my first appointment was unprofessional. The wait time was over 20 minutes, and once I was in the exam room, I was shocked to find the equipment visibly dirty. The lenses used for my screening were so smeared that they made my vision even blurrier. Because of this, I had no confidence in the prescription and declined to purchase glasses or contacts. Months later, I was billed **$125** for contact fitting that never happened and services that were poorly performed and Additionally, I paid **$39** for retinal imaging at the time of service (I have the authorization code), but the office later refunded then re-billed me. There seem to be systemic issues with both the hygiene of the facility and their accounting practices. I won't be returning.

I've been going here for the past year and a half. Always had a great experience with the doctors and other staff! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience for my kids! Super friendly staff, very clean and a lot of options. We walked in and were warmly greeted, everything explained really well and they let both kids be a part of the process and see everything they were doing, which the kids thought was really cool. Eye doctor was amazing, again super friendly and kind to my kids. The woman who helped us at the end (so sorry I forgot your name!!) let my 6 year old try on as many pairs as he wanted and we never felt rushed. Very helpful, patient and knowledgeable group! Highly recommend.
