Virginia Eye Institute

I'm going this company a 1 based on two seperate incidents. One happened many years ago so I honestly shouldn't even include that but, in June of last year my mother had an eye appointment scheduled but ended up needing an emergency cardiac cath due to heart failure and a few silent heart attacks and that unfortunately happened the same day as her appointment. I called the office and whoever answered the phone seems preoccupied with someone on the background but I informed them that my mom was having an emergency procedure and wouldn't be able to make her appointment. I'm not sure if it's because it wasn't within 24 hours or what but ever since she has been getting a bill because they marked her as a no show....of course she can't show up, her heart is more important than her eyes....she never signed anything agreeing to a no show policy because she was a new patient anyway. It's clear they don't care about their patients, only the money...sad but I will never schedule another appointment for her at Virginia Eye because of this.

Dr Jacobs has been great. His assistant Tiffany does an absolute outstanding job of getting me ready for my eye injection. 5-stars….

This visit exceptional. All staff friendly and professional, minimal waiting time in both the office waiting area and the examining areas. Dr Knape always personalable, atenative, and professional. A+ appointment!

The visit was very professional, well organized and informative Everyone from the receptionist to the Dr and all the techs My only concern is the Cornea Surgeon office was supposed to call to schedule an appointment for surgery. That was Wednesday. Please ask them to contact me.

Very efficient check in and prompt service but refraction prescription turned out to be incorrect after new lenses installed. This hasn't happened on earlier visits. New refraction was done immediately to correct the problem.
