The staff is wonderful. Always kind and friendly. Dr. K is fabulous. Friendly and is willing to take the time to answer my questions and educate me. If you have glaucoma or other eye needs. This is the place to come. I trust them with my eye care needs.
Not very impressed. Wife's cataract surgery went fine however Dr. found a different issue with the left eye. He ordered a CT scan to determine next steps. It's been few months and we've heard nothing. We've called a few times asking about the results and any follow-up and no real answers, just excuses? They almost sound irritated that we even called? Seems patients get lost in the cracks and ball dropped here.
Visalia Eye Center has an incredibly caring, professional, and talented surgeon, Dr. Matthew Kliethermes (also known as Dr. K), and also wonderful technicians and surgical nurses. The whole staff is wonderful! They provide an incredible surgical experience that is sterile, comfortable, safe, and effective; my husband had two VERY comfortable eye surgeries. We are grateful for Visalia Eye Center.
Excellent experience with Visalia Eye Center. The medical assistants are extremely well-trained, and the entire staff provides outstanding service. I especially want to commend Lee Salazar in the billing department. She answered my call in less than two rings and efficiently managed my account by notifying me of a pending payment, processing it over the phone, and emailing my statements as requested—all in under five minutes. Thank you for the unbelievable service.
If you want to be waiting all day then yes this is the place to be! The wait was over 2 hrs then when it was my turn he immediately walked out saying he was going to take a look at my file. 5 mins later I hear him in the next room doing an exam. He came back & said thank you for waiting I was able to look at your file. Ummm & do 3 exams as well?? Be honest with patients, that’s how you lose business. Be honest that you double booked or triple booked. Dr.K was kind with great manners, but bottom line don’t lie. I’ll be looking for a new eye center/optometrist.
