Vision And Eyes

I had not heard of this vision center before. I went because it was in network with my insurance. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and the Front Desk girls were super friendly and knowledgeable. I was actually 30 minutes late to my appointment because I thought. They were still able to get me in to see the Dr.. Immediately were able to take me back and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The doctor took his time with me, was very knowledgeable and made me feel like a person. Not just another patient or another number. I 100% recommend this practice to anyone. They are easy to work with, super friendly, Very professional, clean, organized, and personable. I will definitely be using this practice from here on out.

All staff has been very friendly, my appointment has always began on time, and my exams have been thorough and quick without pushing anything they don’t see necessary which is appreciated. Dr T is very personable and you can tell you cares greatly for his patients and serving the community. Very grateful I found a new optometrist here after moving to Austin

I wish I could give 5 stars, but unfortunately my experience hasn’t quite met that level. The doctor is very kind and the exams are thorough, and the staff is also friendly and helpful overall. However, my last visit was frustrating. I clearly mentioned that I have two insurances, but only one was used for both my contacts and glasses. When I brought it up at the end, I was told only one had been applied. They eventually corrected it, but the process took much longer than expected. This is my second visit here, and unfortunately also the second time my glasses were made incorrectly. I picked them up last week, and as soon as I put them on, something didn’t feel right. I asked the staff to double-check them, especially since the same issue happened last year. They checked and told me everything was correct, suggesting I wait until the next day to wear them because my eyes were “tired.” That didn’t make much sense to me since it’s the same prescription. The next day, the glasses still didn’t feel right—I was having trouble seeing clearly and felt very dizzy, just like last year. I went back, and they told me I would need to be rechecked by the doctor, who had already left for the day. I was pretty frustrated at that point and left the glasses there since I couldn’t wear them. The following day, they called to confirm that the lab had indeed made the glasses incorrectly—again. While I appreciate that they ultimately identified and are fixing the issue, it’s disappointing that this has now happened twice.

After 8 years seeing my original optometrist in the Arboretum area he retired at the end-of-August. I was now in need of a new eye doctor that is genuine, family owned, knowledgeable, and caring. A week went by of comparing and contrasting I decided on ‘Vision + Eyes’. The business location is 3 minutes from my home and my daily route to work. I scheduled an appointment in advance online - no need to contact the front desk which was nice because I did it a few hours before my visit. Completed my new patient paperwork online and within minutes I which seeing Dr. T. He’s very knowledgeable, caring, funny and sweet - all in one package. He’s a glaucoma specialist and has worked in rural areas for training. I felt like I made a great choice choosing his business over other optometrist nearby. The office has only been opened for a short time, so it’s very new. It has the latest technology and software for a wonderful visual experience. The staff is wonderful and Dr. T greets you as you walk-in the main entry door. There is complementary coffee, tea and water. I am looking forward to my annual eye exams once again! I highly recommend Dr. T and his lovely staff for anyone new to Austin needing a new doctor and/or just searching for an eye doctor!

We recently visited Austin, TX, but upon arriving I realized I had not packed my contacts lenses. I called Vision & Eyes on Parmer Lane and was told to come to the shop to see if they could assist me. I shared my prescription from my home eye care center with Dr. Thi Nguyen, OD at Vision & Eyes and he promptly checked their inventory and provided me with a trial pair of contacts that not only met my prescription needs, but was a superior brand to what I normally use. Dr. Nguyen was extremely professional and helpful - he would not accept any payment - he was happy simply to help me in my time of need. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Nguyen!!!
