The office got me in within a 24 hour period due to a scratch on my eye. I was able to get my scratch checked out long with getting a full eye exam. Staff was very pleasant throughout the entire process.
Dr Gaetano is extremely thorough, patient and professional. He has all the up to date equipment to measure eye health so that you don’t need to get dilated! Optical technicians very helpful and there is a huge variety of frames in all price ranges. Would never go anywhere else
I started going to vision care associates because my husband had been going to them for years. I am very pleased with the doctor and staff. They went above and beyond to help me get glasses that I could see through not only everyday wear but also prescribed me a set that is just for work. Because I am on a computer for 8 hrs a day.. I was also pleased with the glasses selection that they have in the optical part of the office, The ladies there were very helpful. Unfortunately I can’t give a good review to the time it has taken to receive my glasses. I was told 2 weeks. I called at the 2 week point and they told me they should be in any day and that they would call when they come in. I waited until the 3 week point. No call, so I reached back out to them. Again, they haven’t come in and we will call when they do. I wouldn’t be writing this review if it was the first time. I would just chalk it up to something made them late. but last time I got my glasses through them they were delayed as well. I think next time I get my eyes checked there I will go to another optical place or order online.
⭐☆☆☆☆ My experience with Vision Care Associates was extremely disappointing due to poor customer service. I originally scheduled my eye exam specifically for contact lenses. However, the optometrist automatically placed me in daily wear contacts, which I never requested. When I tried to have my prescription adjusted to monthly or bi-weekly lenses, the process became unnecessarily difficult. The biggest issue came when I asked the office to fax my prescription to 1-800 Contacts. It took multiple attempts, and when I called back to follow up, the associate I spoke with was very difficult to work with and not helpful at all. Overall, the lack of communication and poor customer service made this a very frustrating experience. Because of this, I would not recommend Vision Care Associates on Canfield Rd.
