Subject: Concern Regarding Ongoing “50% OFF” Advertising and Price Transparency at Unique Jewelry Dear Park Plaza Mall Management, I would like to bring to your attention a concern regarding the advertising and pricing practices of Unique Jewelry located inside Park Plaza Mall. I have noticed that this business displays multiple large “50% OFF” signs and appears to maintain this promotion for extended periods of time. When merchandise is continuously advertised as “50% OFF,” I believe it is important that customers can clearly identify the regular/original price, the actual sale price, and the basis for the advertised 50% discount. Otherwise, it may be difficult for customers to determine what the merchandise normally sells for and how meaningful the advertised discount actually is. My concern is particularly about price transparency. A customer seeing a large “50% OFF” sign should be able to understand what price the 50% discount is being calculated from and whether that price represents the store’s genuine regular selling price. I am not making a determination that the store has violated any law or mall policy. I am simply bringing this matter to Park Plaza Mall management’s attention and respectfully asking management to review the store’s ongoing “50% OFF” advertising, regular price displays, and sale-price practices to determine whether they are being presented clearly and appropriately to customers. I have attached a photograph showing the “50% OFF” signs for your reference. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter.

Yesterday, I visited Park Plaza Mall hoping to do some last-minute shopping before the mall closed at 8:00 PM. At around 7:53 PM, I stopped by Unique Jewelry to look at some items and possibly make a purchase. However, even though it was still before the mall’s official closing time, the kiosk already appeared to be preparing to close. I didn’t feel like I had much of an opportunity to ask about the merchandise or make a purchase, so I ended up leaving without shopping. I understand that businesses need time to prepare for closing. However, if Park Plaza Mall’s posted closing time is 8:00 PM, I believe customers who arrive before closing should still have a reasonable opportunity to shop and receive service at stores and kiosks, including Unique Jewelry.

The mall is quite clean and offers a wide variety of shops, making it a pleasant place to visit.

This is a great place, there are a few empty stores but as a whole, everything looks great. The stores that I saw were really quality stores and they were well stocked and the staff treated the clientele as if they cared for them. There was a food court that I wasn’t able to try but I had other dinner plans, there was plenty of parking outside as well. This would be a great place to go shopping with the family.

If you were a teenager in the 90's this mall may appear similar to the mall of years past. When you realize the lack of variety and all the stores that are no longer there it's kinda sad! Wouldn't suggest going to window shop. If they have a store you want to buy from, totally worth it. Victoria's Secret is still the bomb 💣
