Dr. Mike Simmons is my family eye doctor. When I had a child that needed a surgical consult that required a pediatric specialist he personally made the calls and walked me through that entire process. I am in his office multiple times a year and consider him a very trusted member of my extended family. Dr. Simmons doesn't need to remind himself of who you are or what issues you have he KNOWS his patients eye care needs the same way he would his own sister or brothers needs. He also makes sure that as I age he adds extra testing to my yearly checkups. I would not even know to ask for this specific testing . His dedication to keeping my eyes snd my family members at their optimal best is amazing and very comforting to me. Many of my family members have extensive eye disease and he takes every precaution possible so that I am able to avoid any potential long-term complications with my vision. The equipment at his office is state of the art and superior to any other equipment I've encountered in the past decade. His office staff is kind and very thoughtful. Recently, I had a surgery and they went out of their way to help me retain my dignity and my personal comfort. It's nice to have staff that is not only caring but is also respectful and kind. I can only assume it's the leadership that they receive. I highly recommend Dr. Mike Simmons.

Every single employee from the front desk to my last room was so welcoming and calming. All the tests were explained thoroughly beforehand and I never felt rushed. Dr. Hinson was wonderful in discussing my results and concerns. It was a great first appointment!
Starting from check in, the staff was very friendly and professional. My nurse who prepped me was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Surgery center was clean and well organized. Overall, the experience was a great one and I highly recommend this care center to anyone that is seeking care! Thank you and I appreciate y’all! Alma Collinge
My optometrist is Dr. Simmons. He has been my eye physician for several years now. I have never been more satisfied with the service he provides. He he is very caring and compassionate. Choose him and you will not be disappointed. As for the staff at Vision Eye Group everyone is very nice and attentive. I highly recommend them for all your vision needs.
Great experience all the way through. So glad to be hooked back up with Mike and his staff again. I missed the professionalism and thoroughness that they provide. While they were very busy, the staff was still able to handle patients effectively and efficiently, all with great attitudes. Folks appreciate that more than Doctors realize. One suggestion to make the experience even better is to create a clean pathway to the front door instead of having to walk between parked vehicles at the front. It’s much more difficult to enter the building because of all the parked cars that block a clear path to get to the sidewalk to come inside.
