Vision Plus Inmarysville

So I was disfigured in an accident.. and my vision is horrible. So I made an appointment with vision Plus in Marysville.. after my eye exam, the secretary refused to build my insurance.. in kept belittling me and talking down to me,, obviously because of my appearance.. and also added $400 worth of extras on top of the price of the glasses,, when I asked about the extras.. I was told well you probably can't afford it you should go somewhere else.. and I looked at them and I said $750.. for one pair of glasses.. so I paid out of pocket because they refused to build my insurance or contact me before they added $400 of extras.. worst experience I've ever had in my life complete discrimination I'll never go there again I still have to go pick up my glasses and I'm not looking forward to it. Only reason I paid is cuz they do have good glasses. And I can easily afford it I work very hard for my money. My fiance says I should call the better Business bureau. The only reason I didn't go somewhere else is because my current glasses are broken and I need glasses for my work and I didn't want to waste a whole another day. I really wish I would have shopped around first. Update.... Well just picked up my glasses... I like the doctor.. but the lady giving me my glasses was nice but belittling.... I was reading a piece of paper and she thought I was so stupid.. that she decided to tell me oh you read through the bottom part you know the bifocal.. I was in an accident lady I'm not retarded.. so for $750 I was pretty much talked down to and belittled never go back

I've been a patient here for quite a while, but the service seems to be getting worse with every visit. Every time I need something, there's another unexpected fee that feels like it was made up on the spot. Most recently, I called to order new contact lenses and wanted to try a different brand. Even though my contact lens prescription hadn't expired, I was told I would need another eye exam before they could let me switch. On top of that, I had already paid two separate fees just to be fitted for contacts in the first place. The front office experience hasn't helped either. The two staff members I've dealt with have been difficult to work with and haven't provided the level of customer service I'd expect. After this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you're looking for an eye clinic that values its patients and is transparent about its fees, I'd recommend looking somewhere else.

I have been a client for years at this clinic. Came in today to get a new pair of glasses and was told that I can’t get them without an eye exam. The front desk told me it is the law. When asked for the RCW they gave me the one for CONTACTS and I don’t have contacts just regular glasses. I have added a photo of the law for contacts not glasses below that I was given when I asked for the law on glasses. I was treated like I was stupid.

Came to this location for my first vision exam since moving to Marysville last year. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. All my questions were answered by the staff. Not having my eyes dilated due to their machine was an added bonus! I came back a few days later to really take my time to find a new pair of glasses. HUGE shoutout to Geo for making this second visit the most enjoyable experience in choosing a new frame. She was knowledgeable about what frames suited my facial features and patient with my indecision of color choices. I’m really happy with my choice of frames because of her!

The ladies behind the desk were super sweet and helped me and another client get glasses with a breeze! They walked me through how the process would go and once we decided on our frames we could expect them within a couple of weeks. I was in there for about 15 minutes! I definitely recommend going here for great quality frames (if youre struggling with deciding between a couple of frames they'll help you out with that too)
