Had a very pleasant experience at Dr Odde’s office. The staff was friendly n efficient. The office was clean n inviting. Dr Odde was efficient in his exam. My family n friends recommended this vision facility n everyone seems to be happy.
There is a reason for all of the 5-Star Reviews! I went and saw Dr. Ohde after a strong recommendation from an ophthalmologist friend. I haven't had my eyes checked in about 25 years, so I was a little nervous going in and didn't quite know what to expect. Dr. Ohde spent significant time with me during my exam, giving me details of everything along the way. He was great at explaining everything to make me feel comfortable. I did not feel rushed at all and I felt the exam was tailored to my specific needs. The most important part for me was his explanation of things. He thoroughly went through his recommendations with me and the "why" behind these recommendations. He wants his patients to understand the cause(s) and what treatments are going to entail. I am especially appreciative that he wanted to get to know me to help tailor the options to my lifestyle. I was thoroughly impressed and will be recommending Dr. Ohde and his team to friends and will be bringing my family back for their exams with is office!
I have been bringing my 12 year old son here for a couple years. I am now bringing my 14 year old daughter. I actually switched to this clinic from an another local optometrist. I just didn’t feel like my son was getting the best care at the other office. At Vision Professionals of Leawood, every visit has been great! The staff and doctor are pleasant and knowledgeable. I can call and ask questions and the office staff are always patient and helpful. Dr Ohde is so nice to the kids and very patient. The doctor explained everything to me during the visit. They were great helping my son find the right brand of contacts for his eyes and eye condition and made sure he had enough samples to last until his arrived. They were very patient with my daughter getting into her 1st pair of prescription glasses/sunglasses. I highly recommend this clinic!
Most thorough and informative eye appointment I’ve ever had. Started Optilight treatment for chronic dry eye. Dr. Ohde is the first optometrist to offer me a solution for dry eye other than drops and warm compress. The incredible care would have been enough but added to the experience was an incredible staff. Really nice people.

From check-in to the exam, everything runs smoothly and efficiently, and they take the time to make you feel comfortable and well cared for. It’s clear they value both excellent service and patient experience. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for quality eye care.
