First of all I was greeted so kindly and waited less than 5 minutes for someone to take me back to a room. The employee was so nice, explained everything so well and helped me not feel nervous. Then Dr. Peterson was THE best optometrist I’ve ever met with. He was so kind, helpful and I felt important to him. He even explained to me how taking good care of my diabetes would help my eyes in the long run (I knew this but he explained it so well) and I felt confident with my prescription at the end of the appointment. Then Ashley checked me out and she was so helpful and sweet. I’m so glad I found this place and gave it a try!

Overall this was a 5 star experience! The staff were very friendly and strived to provide a positive experience for me. The front desk attendant and the optometrist assistant were very friendly and helpful in preparing me for my visit with the doctor. The doctor was especially great! He not only provided the needed tests to get a new prescription for me but showed interest in me and was able to help me find a solution to other eye issues I was having. They even offer you a soda afterwards!
I had both a personally enjoyable experience with Visionology, as well as a beneficial visit which was rewarding with improving my vision situation, while providing me with an educational experience. Everyone was patient and explained everything, and made sure your needs were addressed through the entire process. There was such a relaxed, but efficient and effective approach to getting things done while making sure ‘Customer First’ was how they made you feel. I wanted to immediately call my primary care physician and thank him for referring Visionology. Your questions were answered, they made sure you understand everything, and they want to make sure you’re satisfied. I’m a fan.
I went to Visionology for an eye exam and I was not disappointed! I had been told they were super nice, and it was absolutely true. The exam felt very thorough and Dr. Mike and everyone were very kind and professional. The office is clean and spacious, and parking was great. There were no high pressure tactics or pressure of any sort to buy glasses from them after my exam. My insurance (like most I believe) covers the eye exam, but for the final inspection of eye / retina health, it only covers the part where they dilate your pupils with eye drops, and then you have to wait 30 minutes for them to dilate, be tested, and then afterwards you have blurry vision for hours. They are very willing to accommodate a separate visit for this part of the test however, and you don't have to do it along with everything else in the exam. Although they were willing be so flexible, to save the time and relative inconvenience of the pupil dilation test, I opted for the advanced photo imaging they offer which is a small additional charge. I very much appreciated that they were very clear about the additional charge when explaining the options to me. I have had other, sheisty eye places omit the explaination of charges prior to this test, and then try to nickel and dime me at the end, which forced me to assertively deny payment as they didn't explain the charges prior. There is absolutely nothing sheisty at Visionology - what a breath of fresh air. The retinal photo imaging test takes literally like one minute, and I view that additional $36 as money well spent when compared to the test where I have to spend my time having my pupils dilated and then dealing with blurry vision for hours afterwards (not to mention that experience isn't the greatest). My family and I will continue to come here for all our eyecare needs and we are super grateful for all the staff who made the visit easy and fun.
It’s been a couple of years since my last eye exam so decided to make an appointment with Visionology. Overall, it was really the best experience I’ve had. They were quick to see me, friendly, and performed a thorough exam using modern technology. There was no pressure to purchase anything, though they did provide some excellent recommendations. I left feeling very satisfied with my experience and the care I received!
