Back when I had an eye appt a year ago the doctor I hadn't been able to read due to my glasses. The doctor at this vision works said my previous ones were made incorrectly. It's so much better now! But this review is about the amazing front desk team and retail team. I am in another state for the summer and broke my frames. The lenses were fine. I called and asked them to send me a frame and not only were they wo helpful but instead of the week and a half they told me it would probably take to get it to me. They actually overnighted it to me and I got it at the very next day. I couldn't believe it when I receive them because my second pair is not very good and I love this pair so much. Thank you thank you the best eye place I've ever been to all around.

Update... I have changed the feedback from negative to positive because Gabby the manager Has exceeded my expectations, the problems and issues I had, have been corrected thanks to MGR. Gabby. She's obviously a manager because she knows how to do the job properly.I just wish it would have been done right The first time, but I am totally satisfied now after having her step in to help. I have been a customer for many years.At least ten years.And the reason I go here is they have such a large choice of glasses. My insurance pays for the glasses so usually if I go to other shops, they don't have quite as big of a selection as vision works in port richie does. AND I REALLY LIKE THESE GLASSES. I DID NOT WANT TO HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WANTED TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY THESE, AND NOW I AM ENJOYING THEM. THANK YOU. So I will continue to shop here.Hopefully, for another ten years, as long as I don't have any issues in the future.

The eye exam itself was ok. Nothing special but was ok. The retail side is a joke. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I was over there 20-30 minutes looking before anyone even asked if they could help me. The one girl who came up from the back actually greeted someone just walking in before she did me. I was told by one of the girls that if I picked a frame for $80 it would be under my insurance cost and be free. So zi asked the girl how much the cost of the lenses were so i could know exactly what to look for wth the frames. She wouldn’t answer me. Then I tried to show her my current frames and have her help me find something similar and she said “just pick a feame and we will give you a quote with the lenses. I picked a frame that was $139. Thinking $59 out of pocket because the fact she said I could get $80 frames free. Nope she quotes $120 out of pocket. The whole vibe was that of a crooked car dealership. Wouldn’t just tell me what cost of lenses would be. Then wouldn’t show me on paper. I left with no glasses because the girl was so rude. Blonde girl (short) on 7/8/2026 at about 1:00.

My experience at Visionworks was a pleasure. The tests and my visit with Dr. Lockwood was exceptional. Also, purchasing my glasses was very quick and easy with the help of the professionals there. I can highly recommend Visionworks and Beyond 2020.

I had such a great experience here. Everyone was very welcoming, the client flow was handled nicely, and I just felt genuinely cared for. Dr. Austin was very knowledgeable and communicative. I got everything I needed in one place so Im happy with that as well. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
